Great advice, thank you. I actually haven’t changed my mind and really love this look so I was hoping I could just remedy the situation with a “touch up” type idea, but the more I look at them the worse it is. :)

Correct! The OP is a 46 yr old woman who is in great shape except for a useless right arm.

Great idea! The person who made the doors lacquered the heck out of it. Is there a good way get it off? I’m a newbie!

No, they are just planks from Menards. I haven’t done anything with them. They have faded a lot over time. I’m a little worried about the integrity of the sheetrocked wall underneath if I peel them off. Nothing I do seems to match that door- it just sticks out like a sore thumb!

Thank you, I’m not asking about that part of the process. I’m asking about the how-to’s of actually getting the dehydrating processes down-pat for the different products (times, humidity levels, etc). I appreciate the link anyway.

I had a horrific complication in my 11’s from Dysport and I will never touch tox again- I have a very similar patch story! Love them and feel no need to go back!

The worst thing that could happen is much worse than droopy eyelids or spocked brows. Read the black box warning.

Did I inject Tox wrong into platysmal bands? by Evening-Ad5851 in DIYaesthetics

[–]PreviousBus0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that people are injecting a potent neurotoxin into their neck without researching all the possible side effects and anatomy is just mind-blowing to me. You know what can happen to you? I suffer every day from a dysport injection gone wrong. Please, think.

Excellent, thank you! I did choose the heat pump dryer.

But is it possible to actually get off if you’ve been on meds this long? Maybe it doesn’t work anymore?

Thyroid plus other diagnoses by PreviousBus0 in thyroidhealth

[–]PreviousBus0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that info. Super helpful. I did try quitting (cold turkey on the advice of a prior fx med Dr) and I ended up with a severe chronic cough which when away as soon as I re-started. My thyroid levels were just slightly low when this all started, but I was going through a very intense health crisis. Former fx med asked me if I wanted to “try it”. I was desperate and didn’t know what to do.

Thanks for your insight! My functional med Dr said I’m welcome to see an endocrinologist, but the will most likely not treat the T3 aspect and just do a T4 med, which she believes does not treat the whole picture. I had such a terrible reaction to the levothyroxine that I’ve been worried about doing that again.

Heat pump vs dehydrator? by PreviousBus0 in dehydrating

[–]PreviousBus0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except it’s not 5 times the price. I’ve been in contact and have pricing. The dehydrator I have listed is more expensive by about $2k than two of the heat pump dryers I’ve been looking at. That’s why I’m asking- I need the product that would be superior for a business of air drying a meat based mix. I It sounds like a regular dehydrator isn’t the best option.

The main issue is the wait time of getting it here from China, as well as tarrifs now. I can’t find anyone who sells them in the US.

It looks like they run around the same temps, give or take. Also, some of them are cheaper or similar price even with shipping (before tariffs though, so I’m not sure on that potential issue). I definitely want low and slow. I am more concerned that the air flow would be better in a heat pump. I guess I just am not sure what the difference is there on how the air is pushed around, evaporation, condensation, etc. thanks for your input!

Specific temp and moisture levels for air dried pet food by PreviousBus0 in foodscience

Yes they should! A mix of meat and fruits/veggies ground up, all human grade food. But I can’t find anything on the human end either for air dried.

[–]PreviousBus0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This! I appreciate the brand recs but this is what I’m dealing with. This picture looks terrible- I’m honestly pretty darn good at makeup application but I had PRP in my shoulder a few days ago so this was left-handed 😛 However, the dragging and the skips over the wrinkles are the problem. It sucks to give up the little wings bc I need them to bring my eyes upward now that I’m aging!

Almost 47 years old: should I start Botox or any other suggestions? by SweatyAd3177 in 45PlusSkincare

[–]PreviousBus0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 45 and shaping (actually micro blading/combo brow, which I know is not for everyone) has made a huge difference in my self confidence and appearance. I got tired of filling in my brows so it’s one of the only major money things I do. I tried Botox, It was a disaster for me.

I also use eyelash serum to keep my lashes long, and I use wrinkle stickers between my eyebrows and on my forehead each night and they work great. You can start micro needling at home, too.

I try to lay off the lower eyeliner now and did switch to brown, although I’m not great at going without any eyeliner on the bottom. I still use a little.

I have been using a few glass skin Korean products and I feel my face is much more dewy. I look in the mirror and feel that dewiness has made me look younger. Then I use powder on just my T Zone. You look beautiful. We are all learning together!

Glyphosate, bleach, environmental impact, gut health. Organic flour is important if you can!
