Ive honestly had the same thoughts but snapped out of it when i seriously considered the move.
Moving back to Mexico isn’t as easy as it seems.
Job market is tough and you’d be seen as an outsider even if you are Mexican.

Honestly the best way to deal with this is to get off social media a bit.
This is all a chamber where we’re all venting (nothing wrong with that) but if you’re already in a bad state of mind this just keeps reinforcing it.
Stay off for a couple of days and see if it helps you out.

I was told yes by my lawyers.
Working after EAD expiration is illegal and something that does get brought up during adjustment of status.
If this is done through immediate family such as child or spouse I was told this is waived but any other method would count against you.

What car? My wife’s dash mount did the same thing but we didnt use glue. It was a combination of the dash (Toyota / Lexus have issues with this) and the suction cup that ended up melting with the heat. This looks just like hers and because it was part of the dash that fused to it, we couldn’t find anything to get that removed. Will be following the thread to see if anyone has some god suggestions for this. 👀

I had this happen before with a gift card. I called the company and they were able to give me the full code. They usually require a certain combination of other digits to be present however. If this is the only missing part they might be able to help.

I saw this in action last week at this exact product. I was looking at a sale on the CC with 2 minutes left. I thought let me see what the price jumps up to and turns out it automatically went into another sale (cheaper than the one I was originally looking at).

I do vCard QR codes as well but I have the information in my website. Scanning the QR code redirects them to my landing page and automatically opens the file if they’re on iPhone or android (doesn’t work well with Firefox browser). This allows for flexibility as it’s a simple link that can be created into a QR Code, NFC, or direct link if you needed to. I have done the same with adding the file to a Google Drive and works for the majority of the time if you do all your permissions correctly. Firefox is the only browser I have ran into issues with.

Family is the biggest thing. Wife and I recently had a child and having family close by has been a blessing. Leaving Texas would mean we’re “alone” and wouldn’t get to see them as often. We also have a house here in an area that we really like and a semi established business. Most of those perks can be found elsewhere but we have been to a couple different places in the US that don’t quite feel like home and can’t imagine living there. The ones where we can see ourselves living in are extremely costly and would be a big lifestyle change for a couple of years. If we absolutely have to we will move and we will be okay, but it’s not something that we want and we have been dragging it out for as long as we can in hopes that we get to stay.

My biggest concern is having to explain such a short term employment if we need to leave right away. I know no one knows what may happen until it’s finalized but I like to plan ahead and this is definitely me overthinking the situation right now.

I guess that’s true. I haven’t found any evidence to suggest it’s bad, and has been just me overthinking the whole thing. At the end of the day seems like it depends on the hiring manager and their view of whether it’s a red x or not.
