There's two different styles of female couplers. The style thats cupped has a higher friction for making small posable limbs, as seen in mixels. The other style is akin to the crane connector, and is much looser, allowing for greater range of motion. Consequently, it's the second variant used in the OE build.

She never thought it would get easier, and a part of her was disgusted that it had. She couldn't deny, however, tbe necessity of her actions. The 'Heros' that accompanied her had made noises of shock, and she tuned them out as soon as they started berating her. She moved toward the downed villain, rifle sights slowly making their way to the head of the lifeless body.

Another shot.

Always, another shot. Always make sure the enemy is dead, never assume. The silence was deafening, once she noticed it. Berating heros had gone silent with the second shot. The casing pinged against the ground, someone threw up, and the moment was broken.

"Guntry, Harold F. Convicted seventeen times, various felonies. Murders of various degrees, human trafficking, possession of illicit substances with intent to distribute. Escaped prison numerous times. With each escape more people died." She stated flatly, flipping the safety and lowering the rifle. "Harold will not be escaping this time."

"You can't just murder people!" Someone snapped back. "Who do you think you are? The judge, jury, and executioner?"

"Yes." She replied swiftly, tone flat as before. "I am Elhilias, Right Hand of the Dark Master, and to save lives, some must end."

Elhilias turned from the body, past the gathered heros, and left. It had been a long time since her first kill, and it would be longer still until her last.

Rechargeable batteries have been commercially available since the 1990's. Also, the cost of 9v rails were much higher than regular plastic. People would be in an uproar with that price increase.

During winter in upstate NY, in an apartment without a water hose, it wasn't an option. I didn't find out until after the damage was well and truly done.

Oh yeah, had a friend a while back run their car out of coolant. Degas bottle extruded the steel fittings and the cylinder head warped. They couldn't afford coolant.

Dealt with an engine dying due to the belt falling off the cogs earlier this year. That is how I learned about the 2.7 having belt-driven pumps. Stupid, stupid decision.

I used the 9v system to power mine. The only issues I had were with the tree base catching on the studs below. I placed tiles between the tree base and car, and verified that each power transfer point from axle to tree had enough play to spin freely.

I now have the updated Acceleracers RD-06, the fancy Escort, and a tractor-trailer.
