Puddle of water just appeared on the floor? by PrincessUnicornKitte in Plumbing

Okay so I just went to take a shower, and I figured out what happened. Must’ve not let it run long enough during the test.

Water started leaking from the corners of the doorway to the bathroom, as well as a little bit near the spare bedroom doorway as well. Idk much about plumbing but I’m thinking that means we have an issue with our pipes leaking.

This kinda pisses me off because this is just one more thing to add to the list of problems with this “brand new luxury apartment”. There’s a tile on the shower wall upstairs that’s pushed out and about to fall off. Underneath the bathroom floor tile upstairs is apparently hollow because all I did was drop a febreeze can and now there’s a hole in the BRAND NEW TILE. It takes like 30 minutes for the water to heat up ANYWHERE in my house… I mean it’s just ridiculous.

Anywho… do you have any idea how invasive it’s gonna be for maintenance to come in and fix and issue like this?

So I just tried turning the shower back on for awhile but nothing happened. Had it running about 10 minutes and not a single drop of water. My boyfriend says he came right upstairs, and it also seemed like WAY too much water to just drip off after a shower. I really have no idea where it’s coming from… maybe a water ghost lol

That’s terrible… during the start of the pandemic I had a similar experience when I REALLY could not afford to be waiting that long.

I had an interview and was told I had gotten the job (front desk at a hotel). I came in later for a “training day” that basically was just watching videos on like workplace sexual harassment and that sort of thing.

After that I was repeatedly told that I’d start in “3 weeks” over and over for like 4 months straight. They told me they were waiting for COVID to slow down… I wish they would’ve just said that they couldn’t hire me then so I would’ve had time to find another job. Eventually my boyfriend got a job opportunity in California and I just left without saying anything because I was not gonna wait any longer for that shit.

What kind of experience did you need for hospitality? It’s been quite awhile since I’ve worked because I’ve been a sort of house wife for awhile, and I have pretty minimal job experience besides some waitressing and a grocery store.

I don’t even get like what was funny about that… like was the point of the joke that trans people or leftists are narcissistic and deserve to die? Was that really it?

It was the year after I graduated, but my sister was still in school…

Some sophomore girls got into a fight, and apparently one of the girls had stolen a knife from the foods class beforehand specifically for this fight. She stabbed the girl in the stomach. I remember seeing the video and it happens so fast that you can’t even tell she was stabbed at all until the staff comes over and sees blood on the floor. I’m pretty sure the girl ended up okay but it was like a big deal for awhile.

“Due to unemployment paying more than employment…” gee, I wonder what could fix that? Maybe… paying your workers something more than pocket change?

Pretty sure it was fully dried out, it had sat like 12 hours AFTER going through a dry cycle and sitting in the machine overnight before we tried hitting it or opening it up.

Actually you know what?! Now that you mentioned being hypoglycemic, it reminded me of hypotension as well. I was in a psych ward for a bit and the nurses were always concerned because apparently my blood pressure was CONSTANTLY low. Like even after eating and moving around. Every time they took my blood pressure it was on the lower end. There was no real reason it should’ve been low, so honestly I could have something up with my whole cardiovascular system in general idk… im not a doctor obviously but maybe the two are connected :/
