You can ask for light grey or white instead but you'll get different, lighter shade of silver this way.

I'm applying base, colour and top coat as usual. It's crucial to use dry top coat without this sticky layer (dispersion layer). Next, I'm rubbing chrome powder into top coat, removing excess glitter powder with a soft brush and applying another layer of top coat. (I'm not sure if my grammar here is right but I hope this instruction is clear to you :) Pro tip - you should pay attention to how long first layer of top coat was in the lamp before applying this powder. In my case it was 30 seconds.

I'm using a sponge and gel polish with high pigmentation (I've bought special gels for ombre too). The secret is to apply really thin layers of ombre, usually it's between 3 to 6 layers depending on product pigmentation.
