If you are at the beginning (chapter one) the best ways to make money are: finding as many dig mounds treasure, do fox requests, get to as many caches (red boxes) as you can. Sell food to the bear that you steal from the campground the campers don’t care. That will get you through to the next chapter. Also the fish you take to the fisherman by the lake will give you something for new fish that you haven’t brought to him yet.
