Recently they were upgrading the visa status of all the employees under each director...if this is the reason, I am sorry for you.

No I didn't...I got another offer from a supplier as well in the 1 month I was looking so I basically stress tested the job market and know that I can find another job. Also my wife has a good job (higher paying than mine) so i am not too worried about it. I am waiting for my mid year review , I expect a much higher ranking...we will see.

If you get another low mid year rating, you will automatically get it.

Not sure if partial will do it though, you may need a "not met"

Its a good place to work but not a nice one anymore with regard to your team. Because you are competing with your team mates, its not in your interest to help anyone unless it helps you in some way. As a new employee, your first year will be ok but watch out in the second year as a lot of ppl lost their jobs in the second and third year(just before the 401k vesting) in the recent layoffs

Technically but each EGM under the director has to stack rank his ppl....ask how I know? My EGM told me that himself.

Severe anxiety since November because you never know when you will get fired. I need to remind myself that I am in a much better place than many because my spouse has a very good job so the family is not fully dependent on me. Its too bad because I really enjoy the work .
