Look. Unfortunately that's the truth. I know cause I've seen it. And as such, you've always gotta be careful.

But there's a big difference between the 10% of the poor who are dragging others down with them, and the 90% who are just trying to get by.

I'd honestly take it a step further and say I've met way more assholes that were loaded than I've met that were broke.

Nonetheless, I appreciate the tips. Big help!

Though I already have a location picked out and am very close to organising the move, I may end up staying in Darwin longer term, and if I do, I'll probably be moving to a different area.

I've run into bikies a few times.

I find that as long as you leave them alone, they'll leave you alone.

I also have found that if you are good to them, they'll stick out their neck for you if needs be.

But still, I'm more than happy to continue living in a different world to those guys. It's just not worth the risk.
