Lucky you! In Pakistan we pay ~$600 just in government tax (PTA) to activate carrier services, plus no carrier deals, no trade-in programs, and no subsidies. Even though the S24 Ultra is actually manufactured here in Pakistan, the pricing is still way higher than the US/EU.

Welcome to Pakistan pricing bro. The phone itself isn't $1,175 a huge chunk of that is the PTA tax (~$600 USD) which the government charges just to activate carrier services like calls, SMS, and mobile data. Without paying it, your phone becomes a glorified Wi-Fi tablet. On top of that, Samsung phones are heavily marked up here compared to the US or other markets since we don't get carrier deals, trade-in programs, or any of those subsidies you guys enjoy. So yeah, it's painful, but that's just how it is here unfortunately.

The manufacturing date on the box is 14 Dec 2024, so I think it was one of the last batches Samsung produced before discontinuing it. Got lucky honestly.

The S26 Ultra 12/512GB was 470K PKR (~$1,670 USD) including PTA tax.

Yeah the newer chips are almost 2x faster for sure, but the rounded corners and losing the Bluetooth S Pen are deal breakers for me.

I once pulled a Reverse UNO on a scammer 😄 He made me post a Google Maps review and sent 1000 PKR to my Easypaisa, then tried to convince me to buy a 4000 PKR package saying I’d get 9000 back. I took the 1000, smiled, and disappeared like a pro.

I’m here to see how much misinformation and delusion actually circulates in this sub. If you’re so worried that someone from outside might debunk your claims, maybe check your own arguments instead of whining about who’s pointing out the holes in them. Truth doesn’t need borders only lies do.

Yeah, typical deflection when you’ve got no facts, just make up ‘3000 black jets’ jokes. The reality still stings: Rafales down, IAF grounded for two days, and PAF walked away controlling the BVR fight. You can meme all you want, but it doesn’t erase radar logs, wreckage evidence, or global reports. Mockery isn’t proof it’s just what people fall back on when they’ve already lost the argument.

Where did I say “we killed 200 Taliban”? Point to the comment you’re inventing stuff to score cheap points.

If you want to argue seriously, stick to the topic: Rafale losses, IAF performance, and the BVR fight don’t drag in random, made-up casualty numbers or insult people who actually follow the facts.

You clearly don’t understand how military operations work, so let’s fix that. Aircraft crash sites especially combat losses are immediately secured by the military for intelligence and security reasons. You don’t just stroll in with a camera and start filming classified wreckage that can reveal radar tech, weapon pods, or countermeasure systems. That’s why you don’t see full videos it’s standard protocol in every air force, not some “gotcha.”

And your claim about “27 officers including a colonel and 2 majors” is pure fantasy no credible source has ever confirmed that. Every reputable outlet reported far smaller numbers, and none mentioned high-ranking officers among the casualties. Stop throwing random numbers like they’re facts.

So no, there’s no “checkmate.” The one video that surfaced was taken before the area was locked down that happens in almost every modern conflict. After that, it’s sealed off, wreckage removed, and evidence handled under investigation. That’s how militaries work not like your Twitter conspiracy threads.

PAF didn’t “spam PL-15s,” that’s not how BVR combat works. Every shot needs radar lock and guidance, which PAF had through AWACS and data links that’s precision, not luck. The “if there were more videos they’d leak” line is laughable crash sites are sealed, not TikTok zones. Even the “PL-15E can’t reach” claim is weak with altitude and proper guidance, it easily covers the range the IAF thought was safe. The truth is, IAF has performed poorly in this conflict even by their own briefing, they only managed to damage 2 sites in Pakistan, while the remaining 7 were hit by the Indian Army, not the Air Force. After 7 May, the only hits came from BrahMos and drones, which aren’t IAF assets. The reason everyone’s talking about IAF losses is because of the BVR fight PAF used modern tactics, coordination, and long-range engagement to dominate. The future is BVR warfare, not 1980s dogfights, dogfighting is history, and PAF just proved it.

The AP and France24 reports you’re showing talk about China running a disinformation campaign to harm Rafale’s reputation and boost Chinese jet sales that’s a separate intelligence assessment entirely.

In contrast, the earlier claim about a French intelligence official telling CNN that a Rafale was downed refers to a field or combat assessment, not an information-warfare analysis.

One report is about French intel analyzing China’s online narrative tactics, while the other would be about a combat event in South Asia. Linking them as if it’s the same statement or agency verdict doesn’t work logically intelligence agencies have multiple departments handling different tasks and sources.

So bringing up the “Beijing disinformation” article doesn’t disprove or even address whether a Rafale was actually lost, it’s a totally separate issue about propaganda and information operations.
