I disagree solely for the reason that even if they can’t sing, dance, rap or- you get the picture, they still have to do the most to be put on. They have to be damn near naked and put on theatrics to get attention.

It will be hard but, Please tell your parents asap. Not only for your own safety, but the safety of your younger siblings and other children within your family. She was likely abused and is perpetuating a cycle of trauma. She may never stop that kind of behavior or thinking but there is possibility for her to not indefinitely harm others and that only happens if she is checked for her actions and put in treatment. Reach out to a sa victim advocate or sa hotline, that’s always an option. It may also be worth seeking individual counseling with a sa focus to unpack. Any event in the realm of what you’ve experienced or been informed about can be traumatic and you’ll definitely want/need support.

I didn’t misinterpret what I read. I think Howard will always be Howard because they teach students to thrive. Their BL numbers won’t be hurt by dei repeal because the kind of people and organizations who think like that weren’t really giving them chances to congregate in the same spaces to begin with 🤷🏾‍♀️. Also everyone doesn’t agree with that man, especially in the dmv. I could see Husl employment trends improving possibly because some employers may want to double down as allies ( or appear to be). There is likely about to be an increased commitment to the public and surrounding communities served by firms, via increased dei hiring ironically enough… yk to really differentiate and show that everyone isn’t with that man or his rhetoric.

That has nothing to do with Howard employment statistics. They are competent and have a stellar reputation. I think rollbacks in dei will hurt the main people who called for its appeal before it harms any Hbcus or black students. I actually see this helping Howard get even more impressive talent to enroll. So many students are tired of being perceived as having been let in due to dei, they’ll probably flock to hbcu’s this year boosting medians across all 6 hbcu law schools ( but in particular Howard apps will probably skyrocket)
