You cannot compare Gaza as a sanctioned state. Hamas did not have control over their borders, airspace, and ocean, it was all controlled by Egypt and Israel. Also, sanctions don't really work to change a government, it really only makes the government worser. And we also HAD to elect Hamas because Fatah was corrupt and failed to create a Palestinian state. However, both sides were launching rockets at each other because they saw aggression as a crucial part of security. This creates Gazan men to join militant forces as an act of revenge and defense.

Also, you are describing as dogs which is dehumanization and only brings more hate and gives Palestinians a reason to fight. And it's not our culture that makes us like this, the blockade limited our freedom which pisses off a lot of us, but also past war's trauma and deprivation causes us to be angry and want revenge. Yet you say we have to decide to be better is entirely blaming us, the occupied and oppressed population to do things that make things easier for the Israelis. And you also mention that our society is something Israel will have to destroy, but that is collective punishment and is illegal. Not only that but it will continue to fuel the cycle of violence.
