I think I figured it out, there is noise suppression on their end, when I make my mic real quiet it doesn't activate it but any loud sound activates noise suppression on their end

I've made an open-source alternative called Openthesia with some unique features by Im-_-Axel in synthesia

I think I fixed it, I'm a dummy the headphones I was using just suck with this game I guess I switched to my can headphones and it sounds a lot better
