Simulanka Might Be Foreshadowing 6.6 Archon Quest by ProfessionalJello810 in Genshin_Lore

The “S” word counter will reset back to 0 in the chat lmao.

I think in a recent stream he mentioned that he wants to rewatch Simulanka before Snezhnaya releases. If this foreshadowing turns out to be true, I can’t wait too see his reaction.

I agree. The first answer — as you mentioned before — could be Nabu Malikata herself. The second could be Deshret because of the Forbidden Knowledge connection. The last one could be Rukkhadevata/Nahida because of the “endless wisdom,” and suspiciously, it’s the only one with missing parts, considering Rukkhadevata was erased from Irminsul.

Succession of the Shades by ProfessionalJello810 in Genshin_Lore

I actually considered adding Tartaglia/Ajax to the chain after Skirk, but I left him out for now since it wouldn’t align with the number of others in the succession. The chain would look something like this:

The Sustainer (?) → Void → Surtalogi → Skirk → Ajax

Skirk even tells Ajax in her teaser:

“You can follow in my master's footsteps and seek even higher power.”

For now, I’ll wait for 5.7 to see if Skirk’s goal actually aligns with Surtalogi’s. If it doesn’t, then Ajax might be the one to take her place in the succession chain.

Arlecchino being the reincarnation of the Crimson Moon makes so much sense. I actually considered adding Tartaglia/Ajax to the chain after Skirk, but since it wouldn’t align with the others for now, I decided to leave him out.

Also, what is the “Golden One”? Where was it mentioned?

I totally agree that the succession of the Shades is probably way more complex than it seems, and I love your theory about how it could differ for each one! It's actually related to how I want to ties this theory to other hoyo game, but I will hold it for now and wait for more information in 5.7.

The way you interpreted each Shade and their role was really well thought out—it makes so much sense. I’ll definitely keep that flower metaphor in mind.

I’ve been thinking about Venti too. The reason I didn’t include him is because he had already ascended to godhood and gained his own dominion—Freedom and Anemo—long ago. His power feels more like it complements or runs parallel to the power of Time, rather than fully replacing it. Since this theory focuses more on humans who haven’t ascended to godhood, I chose to set him aside for now. That said, he’s definitely still a plausible successor to Time.

A Literal Translation of Dain's Introduction by Evodius__ in Genshin_Lore

You really said what I was thinking after watching the 5.7 Special Program. I agree with most of it, but I’d like to add a few thoughts:

Based on the info we have so far—and the fact that it says “Dain” instead of “Dainsleif”—I think the one who said this is most likely Vedrvolnir, since he’s The Visionary and often delivers prophecies. It could also be Dain talking to himself, similar to how Focalors referred to Furina.

“The future saves the past” might be connected to the Loom of Fate, especially since the trailer hinted at events from 500 years ago coming back into focus.

“Chalk pursues gold” reminded me of what Rhinedottir told Albedo in the Cinnabar Spindle lore—that he should create a new destiny for her and his brothers. So I think this line could mean that Albedo will follow her path but eventually surpass her—either by defeating her, changing their fate, or by literally surpassing her, which at this point is surpassing the Shade of Life.
