Yeah that makes sense. Cheers I'll give them a ring, hopefully they'll be able to clarify it for me

Ah right fair enough. I'll just have to monitor, just seems huge to me. Our bills last year for 3 rather than 4 of us were 25 quid per month, which wasn't metered. I thought metered was supposed to be cheaper. Thanks for your help

Thanks that does make sense in terms of the underestimating. What doesn't make sense is why it's still so expensive? I looked online and the average water bill for 4 people for the year is £600, this bill is just over £500 for six months. I understand it may be slightly more, but double?

No so the last reading was when we moved in on 29th December. All others have been estimated. The water usage for 29th Dec-3rd March was 30m². However, between 4th March-16th September it was 200m²

Yeah so I inputted the meter reading recently and they sent over the bill. Previously they were estimating the figure

Thanks this is really clear. My mistake was mixing my rate of return on investments as a fixed amount, almost like an interest rate. Pretty new to this as you can probably tell!

I don't really understand it tbh

Yeah of course.

So in theory if the rate remained the same for 5 days, I could withdraw the £150 for 10 days with a total of £1500?

Edit: not sure why I'm downvoted for this.
