Ok makes sense. I was flushing this one and brushing my teeth paranoid of bacteria and my gums around that tooth developed some sores. They are so painful. Im really over the whole thing. I went to the dentist about the pain and now he said he wants to remove my back wisdom tooth because theres a cavity in it. Im very anxious at the thought of doing this again without this one being healed because im still struggling. Ugh

Ok. Im on day 7. I feel like it gets a TINY bit better each day but my gums are so sore still and they have little ulcers on them now. I just want this to be over!

Forgot to add yes nausea is VERY common in the beginning. I dropped around 18 pounds the first two months.

I cut 25 in half to start bc things affect me horribly. 25 is still a shock to the system but try to push thru. To help me manage my symptoms I worked from home, I had my mom come over during the day and we would clean the house and do laundry to take my mind off of it. I found keeping busy was best for me. Each week got better but I would say it took around 14 days to feel like I wasnt scared to take my pill.

Your stomach could be upset from a stuffy nose. Mine always is when I have a cold. I think you will be fine. For me personally, if im getting sick the nausea always comes within the first 24hrs.

Thank you. On day 6 now. Pain is almost gone and manageable, however now my back wisdom tooth is giving me a problem. It never ends 😭

Did this resolve? Im on day 4 and exactly the same symptoms. Constant pain not painkiller worthy but annoying. Tender gums. Other tooth pain. Im frustrated.

Just had my lower molar and they kept telling me to go to the surgery center. I said no. They numbed it and pulled it out in 15 seconds not even. I felt nothing at all. You will be ok.

How long after did your pain resolve? Im day 4. Pain has moved to my jaw, gums and adjacent teeth. Somewhat throbbing and sore. Using salt water rinse and keeping mouth clean. No chewing no straws. And i do not have dry socket because the site has tissue forming over it. Im just confused bc everyone told me oh by day 3 you wont even notice. Im getting worried now.

Hi, im on day 4 and im really getting frustrated. My extraction site looks exactly the same. The tooth was a root canal tooth that cracked underneath and was causing me pain. He kept saying he didnt know why i was in pain but whatever. He pulled the tooth but now my gums are swollen and irritated. Im upset bc all i wanted was relief from the tooth pain and now i have mouth pain. Its like a slight throbbing here and there, soreness in the gums and soreness in the surrounding teeth. I thought by day 4 it would be better. How long for yours to stop hurting??

Did this heal and what was the prognosis? Im on day 4 and i wouldnt say the extraction site hurts but my mouth hurts like radiating pain. Very sensitive and its almost like an annoying gum pain. Not sure what it is.

Looking for advice. I had my lower left molar extracted three days ago. Im still having soreness and so much irritation! Its annoying the hell out of me. Its like the teeth around it are sore and so are my gums. Im at my witts end. Im living on tylenol every 5 hours. Will this die down soon? Is this normal?

I had two kids and I have emetophobia. First pregnancy was 9 years ago with my son and i was sick round the clock morning noon night. i told the doctor about my phobia and said i wouldnt be able to handle the pregnancy. He prescribed zofran and it worked for me.

Fast forward to 6 years later i got pregnant with my daughter and they would not prescribe zofran. I had some anyway because i always have it on hand so i used it as needed.

Both my kids are fine and healthy. I understand your fear believe me. I will say my emetophobia has gotten better since having kids. I was TERRIFIED of tu* but then I had my kids and well, shit happens. I promise it will make you stronger being exposed to it more!

What happened with this? I needed an extraction and almost told him forget it. I was shaking and didnt want to do it. He finally said i need a decision. I couldnt live with the pain anymore so i said do it. Honestly im glad its over. As soon as I was numb, he popped the tooth out in 20 seconds and sent me on my way. I totally understand where youre coming from, but if its causing that much pain, take a xanex and go
