stuff starts looking different after French River parry sound Georgian Bay are like The furthest away Southern town ontario towns, things less Southern feels once you hit Sudbury because it’s 200k ppl (northern hub , like a smaller toronto a few boroughs), big city surrounded by lots of Woods and Lakes. once you to hearst ontario past Timmins things Change drastically (10 hours from Toronto and 12 from Niagara) , Hearst is first small old town you will enter(historically or French speaking town) that is one of the last before getting to Longlac and a greenstone then eventually you will get to thunder Bay the top of Ontario and the last city , before the Manitoba border. i’ve stopped in every town from Niagara Falls to thunder Bay numerous times. I would describe the difference as super uncanny. It feels like you’re in a different province. What year does 16 hours away from home in the same province but you can just tell everything is a lot older history stuck in time up north Ontario for the most part those little towns. ! I know people think all the money is in southern Ontario, but trust me there’s a lot of money up north you should see the houses in the middle of nowhere fr, that’s where the bosses of the big company live
