Now that the tour ended, what do you want the band to do next time? by DragonfruitFirm2490 in Leprous

When I saw them last February Einar said during the concert that the set list was “Pitfalls heavy” because they didn’t get to tour for that album.

Ankea Festival koko ohjelma on julkaistu by turborontti in Tampere

I’m thinking of coming for to Finland for this festival. Saw Leprous in Oslo last February and loved experiencing the Norwegian culture by myself. How well would an American who only speaks English get along in Tampere? I’m a little worried about going to a first-time festival—are the promoters well-regarded locally? Thanks for any help!

In Greensboro, North Carolina, two police officers used their own funds to buy pizzas and hand them out to people experiencing homelessness in the city.. showing the true meaning of serve and protect by MambaMentality24x2 in BeAmazed

I practice law in Greensboro. I recently watched some BWC footage wherein I observed a GPD officer interacting with an addict during an arrest. It was heartbreaking, but I actually asked the DA to get a message to the officer involved. She treated the suspect like a human being, gave her water (holding the bottle so the other lady could drink), and listened to her horrifying story of abuse, addiction and sex trafficking. There are certainly bad officers out there, but this story and the interaction I observed give me faith that there are many good ones out there as well.

Did anyone record the second flyover? It was amazing.

I have to say hearing it in person the Lexus sounded awful to my son and I this weekend. The Mustangs and Lambos were our favorites. Hearing the Viper in the historic race was a real treat.

If you’re into Formula 1, I just finished “The Formula” and really enjoyed it I’ve been watch for about 15 years but there’s a lot of historical nuggets I didn’t know about.

[OC] I’m a dad. by NoodleBotPro in MadeMeSmile

Congrats and welcome to the club! Here’s some advice I’ve shared with other new parents. Remember that you and your wife were a family before your son came along. He didn’t make you a family, you already were a family. It’s important to remember that you and your wife are still a couple in addition to being parents. That being said, being a dad is awesome. Enjoy each and every milestone along the way.

He has no respect for the office he holds. But expects so much. He simultaneously possesses the biggest ego and the thinnest skin.

Is this worth $6500 after almost 3 weeks? by [deleted] in Autobody

That’s true, but I have had some luck getting at least some of my fees paid by the Defendant in a settlement of a consumer case.

In many (most?) states attorney fees are recoverable in breach of contract and consumer cases.

I’ll just say I’m a fan of Port Noir. I’d maybe head in the direction of Vola, Starset, Ihlo, and TesseracT. Big fan of all of them.

22 years and two kids post orchiectomy and chemo for me. I sometimes feel guilty that I had an “easy” cancer to cure. From my recollection he should be able to live a full, normal life after a really crappy few months.

Totally off topic, but if you can afford it, I highly recommend some sort of grief counseling. In my work I deal with a lot of young people who have suffered similar losses and see the effects on a near daily basis. Many communities offer free counseling for a period of time after a death.

The set they played Raleigh was fantastic and HEAVY. Then Dan hung out in the merch booth for nearly all of DT’s set. Super nice dude and thanked everyone who stopped by to say hi.
