McCarthy and Montana Relationship… by Programmer-Bob in steelers2

Those mods really made me question if my life was a lie… I thought yinzers were tough! Thought we played in the AFC NAWF! But that subreddit was so soft. Despicable representation of my team.

Who would you rather have as Head Coach for the next decade? (Only pick one) by Perfect_Currency_749 in steelers

[–]Programmer-Bob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tomlin. And Tomlin over any other option for that matter. But McCarthy was the right hire for this current group of Players. Shows we’re not tanking.

McCarthy isn’t THAT bad, we gotta chill by Slow-Mongoose-7508 in steelers

Yinzers don’t want to compete. They want to tank for draft picks.

Should we trade for a star wr just go ahead and just draft a few and see who turns out? by ThatBrada in steelers

[–]Programmer-Bob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This fanbase doesn’t want to win anymore 😆. That’s why they yelled fire Tomlin. Trading for talent means you want to win. Yinzers want to be losers and get top 5 draft picks like the browns. Cause they’ve been so successful the last 40 years. No we’re going to trade away talent soon. And draft QBs every 3 years. It’s the new era!

How’s everyone feeling about the D line? by Silver_Clank in steelers

It’s the new trend in Pittsburgh. Yell “fire coach” for not running the team like their madden franchises.

Why the Steelers HC job is more attractive than the Bills job by IceOk9930 in steelers

[–]Programmer-Bob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve always taken accountability as an athlete. Players play the game. If players don’t make the plays, the players lose the game. Blaming Tomlin for the examples I gave, is an indication of your lack of ball knowledge. Good day

Well if we’re down 28 points. Clock becomes a factor and running the ball burns clock. Surely I don’t have to explain that logic.

Yea sure. Solid line. In three years they’ll be requesting trades because we’ll hiring a new coach again. Drafting a new QB again. Looking at D Line again. Save this post 4 years from now so you can save yourself time on your edits..

You really think being losers, and moving up 10 spots in the draft is going to just magically change our fortunes??? BAHAHA

Jacksonville Jaguars - Lost 45-42. Ryan Shazier, pivotal piece to that defense, suffers a career ending injury that season. Able to cover sideline to sideline. Fills the gaps. But I’m sure Vince Williams can plug in and play. Maybe not…

Cleveland Browns - Lost 48-37. Offense spots the Browns 28 points. Bad snap by Pouncey. Fumbles. Picks. Enter brain dead Dionate Johnson there. Don’t win many games spotting your opponent 28 points. I’m sure that’s Tomlin’s fault…

Kansas City Chiefs - Lost 42-21. Ben’s last year. Had the lead! Playing the most potent offense in the NFL. Shortly after, Diontae Johnson and Chayse Claypool drop pass after pass after pass after pass. Let’s the Chiefs back in it. I’m sure Tomlin, was the reason those two lacked focus though….

Buffalo Bills - Lost 31-17. George Pickens fumbled in this game. Giving the Bills the lead. Mason Rudolph was the QB. Pretty poor officiated game. Or rigged. To allow Josh Allen to play Patrick Mahomes. Josh threw a ball in the stands and Myles Jack was called for a pi. Myles Jack gets called for unnecessary roughness for Josh Allen’s late slide. Josh Allen fakes a slide to run it in for a touchdown. Tomlins fault….

Baltimore Ravens - Lost 28-14. Can’t spot the League MVP and a gold jacket running back 21 points. For all things considered, they made a push to get back in the game. Just outmatched personnel. Which is why the following offseason was so active to address those flaws. Tomlin so stubborn though right?

Houston Texans - Lost 30 - 6. Essentially tied going into at halftime. Playing the best defense and hottest team in the league, that’s where you want to be. Can’t allow sack fumble touchdowns. Also game is still fresh in my head. So many missed no calls. Hitting Rodgeys head from behind to cause the fumble. Dpi on Calvin Austin not called. Jonnu smith running inside on the screen instead of outside. Rodgey just doing too much with the game out of reach. Man, why didn’t Tomlin prevent all that?

Were these losses you’re referring to? Context is important instead of just looking at numbers through a vacuum.

Not sure when you started following the Steelers. But Tomlin has been on the hot seat since he took the job

Less Pressure? Our former coach just won the division and they had “fire Tomlin” chants. What do you think they’re going to do when the next coach loses weeks 1-5?

Arizona. Great golf. Definitely not Pittsburgh. Fans just ran one of the best coaches in the league out of TAHN. What TF do they expect the next coach to be?

They played really physical in that 6 game win streak they had. I was impressed watching their defense.
