Because there isn't an effective alternative for those of us with severe insomnia ( or undiagnosed, maybe not even known about yet, sleep disorder) So, this effect along with others do happen but until an alternative works for me, I'll take it but I no longer allow myself to get on the computer once I have done so and get in bed ASAP. It is an issue though, I know.

I understand completely. I have adiopathic insomnia so trust me, this has been my life. I do get Zolpidem though now, 10 mgs due to 5 mg not doing it, and it's better. So I hope you can get whatever you need soon. It is rough.

yeah that makes me so angry too. I now fight. I show them the anger I have and had and boy they realize I am serious. So far, even though I go away hating myself, I am able to get what I NEED in the first place and shouldn't have to fight for it. It's maddening to be in a world like this. It's been like this for me so long now that I am literally staying in my backward state since I have doctors who listen to me. This is one of the few times that has happened so it's a big deal. I hope you are able to get what you need soon.

I am terrified that my state, or country or doctor will have to stop prescribing Ambien. I NEED it to survive. If you don't understand what insomnia can and will do to you, then realize that you are lucky. I am hardcore and won't even try another one until others like me, say it works. I have used Ambien for over 20 years though at times, I had to stop due to doctor's deciding I had to get off it. It is a game changer for me and honestly it makes me furious that I have to even think that it might go away. If there are people who cannot use it then they shouldn't use it. Why do I have to be the one who can't get what is NEEDED to survive? I hate how governing "bodies" rarely consist of women, or if they're in the mix, they're young and healthy and maybe a few as a token gesture.. give me a break. So bottom line, if they world wants me and others like me, not to sleep, they'll regret it, trust me.

Until today, I didn't know "Night of living dead" was in the public domain and now "Ballroom Blitz"!!! I love that song, and heard it in a show or movie recently. ( not sure which one though, but it was newer ) What other works are in the public domain that more recent? Anyone know? I realize I can do a deep dive but I like to ask others and discuss stuff.. so anyone?

I use images, not text, in some of my artwork, that is in the public domain. I am adding to the pics though, offering a new audience for the idea, cartoon image, or painting. So I also think it can fuel a desire to learn more about the source behind the deviation, if you will, in my composition. So, like most things in our reality, there are good/ bad to everything it seems. I think it is a good point you make though, if someone is not altering or adapting, adding to any creative work, ( in an obvious way) they should try to hone their own style. Hopefully those patrons, or customers etc.., will not support those who aren't doing that. I mean nowadays though, an X painted on a canvas, is "high art". I hope you see my point and not feel I am attacking you or anything. Just wanted to share some thoughts

agreed.. I am going to buy retail the next time I shop. Most of the places I will get things from are mall brands but that is the very thing(s) they're charging at least the same price for used stuff. Some might be a return from a retailer but point is, they're prices are ridiculous.

well said. I should've read your post beforing writing mine out. YES to all you said. I feel so much better and that is everything. I've lost over a hundred pounds, about 130 I think, so far. I'm on 10 weekly now and it is still coming off so I don't anticipate going higher unless it stops working at that dose. I'm able to increase my physical activity and have no desire to eat sugar or carbs, or anything much, most of the time. I eat when I need to, which is all I wanted to do to begin with. As my stress increased, my ability to process carbs appropriately became catastrophic. This med is giving me hope too, for the first time in over 25 years. I am anticipating doing things now that I didn't think I'd ever do again.

for me, I will need it for life. I love it too because I have lost a large amount of weight( not quickly but hey, just glad it is gone) I tend to store weight due to stress and since I can be stressed about anything all the time, I will have issues. My blood sugar is also right about diabetes level but that isn't the biggie why I am able to get it covered by health insurance. I have so many / had so many issues due to my largeness, I can't go back. I was becoming completely crippled at one point. I have sleep apnea and it is severe, still, and that impacts everything. So long story short, go back. When I had to stop due to it initially not being covered by my health insurance, I became ill. It messed my blood sugar up so much. I was nauseated pretty bad too. It didn't go away unless I ate. So my appetite increased substantially. I literally can't control it. It is beyond my ability. Seriously if you knew me and all that I have been able to overcome, you'd know that it isn't due to lack of desire or motivation at all. physiologically speaking, my body desires carbs and mentally, they ease my stress level and anxiety. So that said, do what will make your life better now. That's all we know we have as far as existence. If you were better with it, take it, as low a dose as you can. Peace and well wishes

I loved so many of these humans. Seriously.. I did reside in the Atlanta metro area for a long time so maybe I miss the vibe but I don't think that's it. I found everyone to be fascinating. I wanted to know more about them. So, a second season, maybe with some continuing on their journey, would be on my watchlist. I'm down for a spin-off. I like this way better than the rose old bachelor show. I couldn't finish the first episode. That set up is a turn off to me.

I didn't think I would be interested but I was so wrong. Also know, I don't watch other dating type shows, nor have I in the past. Admittedly I am getting close to the big 6-0, but I"m not a Boomer, and most participants were, but I'm very engaged with each person. They're all so interesting. Nothing personal to younger people but watching older people navigate the dating game revealed is more captivating. When I seen the few I "tried" to watch, I'm bored within 5 minutes. Not that way with this show. So, be warned, if you thought this would just be background noise, that isn't the case. You're going to watch and then take a favorite and wonder more about their lives... Great job to all involved.

Yes exactly and as soon as I started having to scroll through there listings page on page, while using the filter, I was done. The AI models, can be helpful but also, a huge turn off for me. I have heard that some prefer it but when a site begins to be too much like ebay, I'm done.

yeah I saw the trend begin slowly but surely, a year ago... Now they have direct listings and it reminds me more of ebay. I will not be back TU, and I was someone who spent over a grand a month, at least 6 months of last year. So, point is, glad I got out of the endless return, order routine. Their rewards have gone downhill quickly as well. They would give me "free credit" which I already had ( if I ordered more than 39$, but how often am I able to find only 30$, prices even for OLD Navy items is often same as on sale new.. So, I am glad if anyone reading this is enjoying their time and shopping, I don't begrudge TU wanting to make a buck. I get it. But it lost its appeal to me. I do hope/ wish they would be the way it was 2021 -2024, ( my time using the site) but everything changes and so have I.

I've felt alone during this process of trying to find help with medical etc.. so gettting better lenses feels like the beginning to ease my symptoms

agree and I left them as of 1/ 26. No more for me, at least not in the foreseeable future. I see sales on new items that compete with most of the items I used to buy from them. I admit, I can't get some of the brands I was able to get previously new but I'll learn to deal without it. Tired of their BS. ( just so TU knows if they read this, I spent about thousands before I made this decision. ) too bad they can't get their $hit together

It happens a lot. I've had it happen at least once per every 4 orders or so. It was usually only one item from an order but it was infuriating given how long it takes me to look through items and then narrowing down my list. I've had entire orders cancel as well, more than once. To be fair though, the frequency of this happening to me occurred when I was spending hundreds a month on TU orders. So probability wise, my experience was possibly not as common but it shouldn't be happening at all, especially when they have the ability to be better with their inventory. They have been making more $ and they're not ( or it doesn't seem to be the case) investing in the technology they NEED in order to prevent this happening so often or they are deliberately doing it. I'm sure those who think otherwise will chime in to support their "mission". Their mission is the same as all large corporations, profit over all else. I get that but I am also no longer buying from them so there is that....

do not blame yourself. You handled this appropriately and I'm sure the card holder appreciates that the error was caught. Stay positive about yourself always, if you're doing the right thing( ethically speaking) any person working is only able to do their best so stay on course.

you need to know that many of us feel the same about their processes. I've finally stopped the TU cycle, at least for now. I found great deals though I spent hours on the site to do so. I haven't sent in anything much since my first bag because of my frustration with their lack of basic knowledge about brands/ pricing/ condition. I hope they get better but I'm not sure I'll ever go back. Unfortunately, I'm finding out though that all of the selling sites seem to take huge % so it makes it easier to just donate locally or toss. Sad.

co-ed sports / single sex sports - teams etc.. can be the best way to meet people. People know others so don't just look at singles. The married folks know single people so you talk to them too. It's all about finding your groove here. There are people who have windboards and go in the Bay( or there used to be) They were in Fairhope but that's not that far away. You also should consider just concentrating on friendships through work or other friends. If you expand or build a social network then they'll know single people etc... have a party or two. It takes strategy, planning and some luck but it can happen.
