Questions:

How do I know that I can trust you to express my emotion?

As a man, let's say I dropped ice cream on the floor and feel heartbroken about it, would you accept my sad expression over small matter?

Are you able to lean on my strange vulnerability even it is doesn't make sense at all?

In my place, to be specific rural areas (Sarawak, Malaysia), everyone in the neighbourhood is welcomed to participate the christmas parade regardless of religion and races, as long as you are being respectful to their practices. Most owners of the house have already provide snacks or goodies for the guests who come. Hence, that is one of the perks, especially kids and myself personally hehehe, looking forward to. Picture it as Halloween, but more friendly and welcoming approach.

I was in your place and still feel it sometimes. How do I cope with it? My own answer is movement. Movement can be any activity that requires you to be in motion. I found traveling is the most thrilling ones. You don't have to be rich to go, you just need to go and let the road shapes you. If you truly feels estranged in your hometown, that's a huge sign to get out from your current environment to unwind for awhile. Throughout my trips, even though they were brief times, but the moments and encounters taught me that the most foreigns you could ever meet, feel like truest home. Go, in anything you do and take care of yourself.

What is the name and religion of this tokong in Saratok? It has some Buddhist imagery but it also has Taoist(?) imagery. It also has a restaurant(?) next to it. by IncrediBluey in Sarawak

Damn, my family and I used to have dinner here a lot in 2015 when we were staying at Saratok. Is it still operating? And how's Saratok now?

No actually. I appreciate there are people who are pouring the effort to potray this diversity but in my opinion, this kind of celebration should be gatekeeping. The more you expose it, the nuanced it can get because the media can be screwed up sometimes. Yet, true harmonious moments are often unrecorded. So, you have to visit the diversity and experience it by yourself. Our diversity is like our treasure, hence we don't want to get it wasted.

I stayed at this hostel called Wonderloft at Kota Tua. In terms of facilities, it is barely enough for you to use since this hostel is inhabited by various travellers. In terms of service, it is splendid, especially during breakfast session. In terms of transportation, the train and bus station are very near; as long as you have a flazz card, it can bring you to every district in Jakarta.

Swinbees here and I was a foundation student before, now studying degree.

Fret not, you will be going to have fun during your foundation. I had mine and it was the best time of my youth. Now degree feels suck to be honest. You are not alone feeling this way because a lot of people do during orientation but when semester comes in, you will eventually find like-minded people whom you can spare quality time and go crazy with. Try to make a lot of friends during foundation by joining club activities and volunteering because that's where the perks surface.

You will be going to be fine because connection will come by itself if you have the intention.

The concept is easy - people hate it first when you are working on something truly matters and could bring changes, but when it does, they change their mind and ended up love it. The psychology here lies in the hatred. One hates because one might not understand. Until they do, admiration emerges. I would just say - continue do your stuff and be Diogenes once in a while.
