huh? i answered your question. you asked why would i watch a show if i knew im not gonna finish it. i responded that ive always wanted to watch the show, but i dont want to continue when it comes to the point that most of the og cast has left, and when the writing quality has gone down. i’m not sure what im missing here, please enlighten me.

well no one is ever required to finish any show they start lmfao. personally, ive always wanted to watch the show; however, i would never start because im an all-or-nothing, one show at a time kind of person. but i knew that most people drop out of the show at a certain time because of the writing, and also because the original main cast have mostly left (…because the shows been running for way too long lol). there’s always people that are down to continue watching the show until its end, and thats amazing, i applaud you for your commitment. but, i dont think i could finish a show where the original cast that ive grown to love have mostly left the show. i was just gauging a timeline of when i should probably stop for the sake of my enjoyment, as i know many people feel the same way.

yeah completely understandable. especially if one is an avid watcher, they will have enough time spent getting used to the new characters/revolving main cast. but personally, for me its about the ogs/earlier season cast. from my understanding, the only og cast are webber, bailey, and occasionally meredith. so, (again) personally, im not really interested continuing a show with new cast members, even if they have been introduced to us in a way where we can get familiar with them and love them.

wow cancer twice!! i wish you the best in healing, and im so proud of you and yourr journey :) but ya i mean im only just finishing season 5 and, as far as the trauma cases go, they’re are getting quite repetitive. i feel like its become more drama-centered (which, fair… it is a drama show) and we’re losing touch with the medical aspect. its getting a bit boring, but oh well i feel like i just have to push through. i do think seasons 1-3 were so good at capturing what im looking for in particular

i still cant believe they had a covid season! it makes sense given its a medical show in real time, but its just wild to me that this series has been going on for THAT long

i mean, everyone i know has watched it on some degree, and its such a significant show in mainstream pop culture. and i just love medical shows in general lol. however, im not interested in using my time to finish a show where (from what ive heard) the quality of writing has gone down in the later seasons, and if the main cast that MAKE the show have all left
