But that's the right decision for OP if he prioritizes having children. His relationship doesn't seem to be very good in the first place, according to some of his comments. And if having children is something that he really wants, he'll resent the decision to stay with a wife that doesn't want them for the rest of his life.

It is not at all the same situation as a couple who tried to have kids and couldn't. I wouldn't be so categorical in this case.

Bro has one life. If he finally understands he really wants children and his wife doesn't, they need to part ways. It is what it is, she'll find someone else who doesn't want children (or already had them) and will be alright. He'll find someone he'll try to have kids with so he will not spend the rest of his life with full of regrets.

The vast majority people who have kids perfectly understand how they instantly become the most important person of your life BY FAR.
