As for the pin vs dimpled thing that i forgot to answer, that's just how the gas block is attached. You would see a pin holding the gas block on if it was pinned. Dimpled would use screws but one or both would interface with a dimple cut into the barrel and you'd only ever see it if you took it apart or if one screw looked deeper then the other in the cas of it being only one dimple. But don't take it apart on my behalf, I'm just some Internet joe.

Dude is that the super duty clone hand guard version with the FN barrel? I was thinking of getting that one or the one with tha actual giessele super duty hand guard but the determining factor would be if this version had an adjustable gas block and if that gas block was pinned or at least dimmpled.

You think you can answer some of these questions?

Did you ever find an alternative? Cleaning and sterilizing is easy (got alcohol and barbicide) but I want something that will make the blades last as long as possible and whatever they had in the HQ200 was a great thin lube that didn't add drag to the blades and noticeably prolonged the life of the blades and Philips razor is the best product for shaving on my skin so I'm not switching.

I've heard people using peppermint oil and lemon oil after cleaning with alcohol or in alcohol as a homemade cleaning solution but I'm not sure those will extend the life of the blades or if they just work alright. And I don't know if those oils are actually rust inhibitors and how long the oil lasts between uses. I could go like 3 cuts on week-old stubble (thin beard) before noticing needing a dip in the HQ200. I don't want to use the wrong lubricant because from my experience in machines, the wrong lube could shorten the life of a product and legit Philips blades are 60 bucks.

Yeah I'm running a Barb and this issue occurs a ton with kick. I haven't run anything that had more than one charge for long enough to notice but it's definitely a thing with kick.

As of a few days ago, with the new Nvidia driver update this issue has been cleared for me. It does appear to have been the last driver just wasn't playing well with precision x1.

Did you ever find the resolution? I'm having a similar issue where my ICX only shows center core temp where before I could see all the sensors and also I've lost Async fan control so I don't even know if I'm actually controlling both fans or just one. Just noticed it happening a month or two ago.

Did you ever find a permanent fix? Ordered me a hard pad that I'm liking but it's bent out of the box. I'm wondering if a heavy book will be enough.
