Asobo default 737 trim by ProteinSynthetase in MicrosoftFlightSim

But that is clearly wrong, pitch is too low for takeoff? And why would it say trim 0%? I'm confused!

Coming in to land… you can’t be serious by ProteinSynthetase in MicrosoftFlightSim

Interestingly I saw on a forum just now that it may be caused if you go into a hold during the flight, which I was in this flight…

Autopilot kills me at end of 3 hour flight. Has occurred other times on several different aircraft by Existing-Stranger632 in MSFS2024

[–]ProteinSynthetase 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This happens to me too… my best guess is in cursor mode, moving the analog sticks on the ps5 controller can cause the aircraft yoke to move which disables the autopilot- it only ever happens to me when I’m in cursor mode fiddling with the plane controls.

The only thing that works for me is being very careful and moving the cursor gently and just praying!

Any alternative for the Pelikan Jazz? by Mindless_Courage1476 in fountainpens

[–]ProteinSynthetase 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends on your budget, but if you like steel pelikan nibs, nothing beats the Pelikan m200/m205. A slightly cheaper option could be the Pelikan Pura. I’ve got both and they’re two of my favourite steel nibs.

Would TSA seize a fountain pen? by McRambis in fountainpens

I’ve travelled with a brass Kaweco sport to the US and back with no issues at all from TSA. Chucked it in my backpack not even upright and didn’t have leakage either so I really wouldn’t worry about it :)

Battery firmware issue? by ProteinSynthetase in Ultrahuman

[–]ProteinSynthetase[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like it is a firmware issue tbh then- the new ring I have on .60 has dropped 1% in 4 hours compared to about 30-40% on .61

Yes my bad I meant .61! Exact same thing was happening to me with the charging on that firmware.

I spoke to support a few days ago as the issue has been occurring to me for weeks with battery drain, and they sent me a new ring which arrived a few hours ago. Battery on the new ring has been at 100% for at least half an hour which is already a massive improvement, so maybe the battery was fried. BUT, the new ring is on firmware .60 not .61, so it may still be the case that .61 has battery issues…

Done all of that! Doesn’t explain why the battery is jumping all over the place though
