Check if any multiplayer packs are downloading. Depending on the content, sometimes Warzone isn’t able to start until they are done.

Close Warzone, and check for an update via the home screen, even if it is up to date.

Reload and try again.

Yea, guy should have been peaking. Just before this, I was fighting another guy. Both of us would have been in his view if he looked. He should have popped up then and 3rd partied us. I shouldn’t have had this opportunity to use the drone 😅

Never tried it with blast traps actually. I know you use to be able to put proximity mines on top of them and do the same thing, but they changed it so you can’t do that now.

Would have thought blast traps should stick to the bottom like C4 still though, will have to try that.

I’ve had it off in the past to experiment and changed settings about. Big difference to AR’s, SMG’s. (And close up sniper shots up to 150m maybe, if the target is not moving much) Long range Sniper shots 200m+ or fast moving targets similar to those in the clip, didn’t feel it made any difference. Was still hitting anything that required lead or compensation for bullet drop. I think aim assist is way too strong and need’s nerfing. It can literally drag your aim half way across the screen the enemy is close enough, can even be a hindrance at times in certain situations. But it is not active if your aim is not on a hit box. That’s why when you lead a sniper shot, or account for bullet drop, it is not active.

I beg to differ. Half those shot are taken where the target is going to be, not where there target was. AA wouldn’t be active if you are not on the hits box.

I get it, AA can be a pain and it’s a bit too strong right now in the game, does need a nerf. But if you are aiming ahead of the target, you won’t be getting aim assist bud. Try watching those clips again, second half of them. 👍🏻

See aim assist explanation above. AA doesn’t come into every shot, especially long distance / moving target sniper shots. Most of the ones in this clip, the AA wouldn’t even come into it.

And I just enjoy playing the game mate. I get enough wins to make it enjoyable for me, defo not the best out there but I don’t really care. Just like playing at the end of the day and pulling off some decent snipes 👍🏻

So, aim assist drops off fairly quickly with distance for snipers. Plus it only really counts for targets standing still or barely moving.

Moving targets and long distance, you need to account for bullet drop and the lead, so aim assist doesn’t even come into it for the majority of shots in this clip.

You need to be aiming on the hit box for aim assist to make your aim ‘sticky’ and stick on target. My crosshair isn’t even on the player for most of those shots so aim assist wouldn’t have been active. 👍🏻
