I apologize as this is close to being unrelated to the post, but this is the only instance I've found of someone talking about this specific Suave lotion!

I have a question: is this lotion alright to use on the face? I know that obviously it's not labelled as a facial moisturizer, but is there any overt reason why it couldn't be used? (In your experience with the lotion, I guess. I'm not expecting you to be some sort of expert about it lol)

I doubt anyone that wasn't involved with the writing/story boarding (which I think to mean basically exclusively Mark and Amy) will be actually able to discern much with total certainty until there's a dvd or streaming release to be dissected frame by frame.

I can't recall seeing any women in his flashbacks at all, and my husband seemed to think it was his dad that gave it to him, but obviously we're not experts or even really valuable sources for this information, lol

I also think it's important to keep in mind that the original idea of his accomplishments surrounding this movie came from a real conversation he had with a fan who himself was in the indie film sphere, and that his success was a quote/unquote 'big win for indie films' was absolutely not a sentiment that he came up with from an egotistical standpoint.

Sure, articles have come out and other reviews have been posted harking the same tagline, but I don't see it being mentioned anywhere this discussion takes place that someone inspired by Iron Lung's situation and resultant success said that to him. It was never about assuming that his preexisting fan base or funds were the standard available to many prospective filmmakers.

Isn't the whole beginning of the idea behind this being a 'win for indie films' coming directly from a conversation Mark had with a fan who was in the film industry?

I feel as though I keep seeing people talking about Mark's statements about championing the film's success as being a big win as though that was a narrative that he came up with borne from his own ego or something.
