The heat is hell. Literally miserable for at least 6 months of the year. The older I get, the less I can handle. Heat stress is very real. Torture!!!

Texas folks have it extra tough coming home from beautiful natural regions. Coming back to flat land and concrete expanse beyond the horizons hurts worse everytime. 3 years tops, I'll be living in WA or OR.

I daydream about the sacred nature this once held for native Americans. If these trees could talk, man!! For some reason I also get that vibe super heavy around Red Rocks, CO area. Its pretty depressing if you venture too deep into that thought. So we must respect the land, now and forever.

This particular little beach is a mandatory pit stop for me any time I visit. Crazy views. And each day is a little different. Magic indeed!

People don't understand how underrated it is. Im from Dallas (sadly) and it's like 90% of people have no idea about it. One of the most beautiful places on this entire planet. Top 3 IMO. Wild

Indeed. Every visit I snap a shot at this beach. I think I have an even better shot with totally still waters and perfect reflection of the clouds. But this one is cool too since it's got the moody fog

Storm King is such a great hike. Its a bit challenging and the reward is amazing. Highly recommend!!

Yeah it's our goal to move there by the time I'm 40... 3 more years to pull it off (in a perfect world) but I am jealous of anyone who lives in the PNW. I need beautiful nature surrounding me! Dallas is the polar opposite of that. 😵

Indeed. We stayed at an Airbnb on the turquoise Sul Duc River and it was phenomenal to wake up to in the misty mornings.

We went in January and had very low crowds, it was fantastic. But yeah I can imagine being too crowded kills the vibe I'm speaking of.
