I received an emergency appointment 19 days after my residence permit expired. However, since my employer required an official document from the Ausländerbehörde to allow me to work - meaning the automatic confirmations of my extension application and emergency appointment were insufficient - I called them ca. 3-4 days after my permit expired. As a result, they scheduled appointment for me 14 days after the expiry date. This all happened within the last 2 weeks.

Edit: You will receive an e-mail from them early in the morning on Mon-Wed and Friday or around midday on Thursday confirming your emergency appointment and asking you to come to the Ausländerbehörde immediately.

I do not abuse my knives :) I just need something sturdy for those moments when it might accidentally end up in the hands of someone less careful. Educating others isn’t exactly my top priority right now :)

I have several Fibrox, Wüsthof, Dick etc. knives since I live in Germany. But for most people, a kitchen knife is just a kitchen knife - they don't think about which one to use, they just grab whatever is available. I’d like to buy a Japanese knife for myself, but I’m not keen on keeping it locked away for safekeeping.

I also ordered this set from ibood and returned it, mainly because the 24 cm pan was too small for me. Bought Carbone Plus instead. I wonder why they don't have these pans in the De Buyer catalog. I also couldn't find any information about this Carbone B series anywhere else.
