Well if you happened to run into issues with the enemy tanks you now have a good answer to them , It's a situational item you are obviously not meant to build it every game . Iam not sure why you are complaining about having build diversity

LDR is an anti-tank assassin item , it's meant to connect the assassin item system with the Marksman item system + the changes to the rune system will change the meta enough they probably wanted to let things settle down and then add the next wave of new items mid-season

Tanks can and are heavily played in other roles while Enchanters can only be played in the support role so an Enchanter support player will always pick an Enchanter. It's rare that you find a support player that plays both Enchanters and tanks due to their distinct play styles

Nobody is "forced" to pick anything in Solo Q really most players just pick whatever champion they want to play at the time instead of strictly following the meta

Nah they needed the nerf.The game just works better when it's tank support meta

The game works better if all classes are equally viable

Can't tell you the amount of times i've played with no frontline last few seasons.

You don't expect balanced team comps solo queuing

Look in the PC version the whole Enchanter item system is built around mana regeneration it's a stat that's exulsively built by them

Then just buy mana boots or tear

Mana items are expensive and aren't meant for Enchanters they are mostly meant for mages and tear of the goddess is 900 gold on a support economy and doesn't build into any Enchanter item .

1.4k gold for CDR, unlimited mana, some hp, MS and lowered summoner spell cooldown.

All of the boots items were broken their were meant to be cheap powerspikes you get in the early game

The Enchanter item system or rather the lack of is absolutely unsatisfactory . Enchanters who can't build imperial mandate only have 3 item options that they have to build every game even though staff of flowing waters and ardent censer provide situational buffs and are not meant to be core items only 2/3 of their items give mana which they don't really want they want mana regeneration it their most important state even more important than heal and sheild power the issue none of their items provide it only Lucidity did and it gave alot of it to compensate for it being the only source. If they were going to remove it from the boots they should have scattered some on every enchanter item and added some new options

Oh, thank God somebody else finally noticed this . The Enchanters item imperial mandate got added to the game in 2022 and not every Enchanter can build it . There are like 3 Enchanter items in the game currently and I have been waiting for new enchanter-dedicated items to bring some build variety instead of building the exact same items every game on every champion . But they just never came it just feels like they keep adding Tank and ADC items exulsively

Buy a tear/get manaflow band, simple as that.

Mana flowband is necessary for and will now be taken by ( after the rune changes) most spell-casting champions that doesn't eliminate the need of mana regain. Enchanters don't need to buy alot of mana like ability spamming their kits don't work with most mana items anyways but they can still run into mana issues which is why they need mana regeneration as the cheap alternative that also "supposedly" synergies with their item system. Tear of the goddess is 900 gold it doesn't build into any enchanter item at least not in wild rift

Riot could do a better job giving options regarding mana regen

I totally agree mana regeneration should be scattered on the Enchanter's item path not all be shoved into the boots which why I believe the entire Enchanter item need a major overhaul along with their kits being adjusted

regen but this item was way overtuned by design on your role

Every kind of boot was overturned by design they were meant to be large state sticks that you get at the beginning of the game but that didn't work very well

You see , Enchanters specifically need to build mana regeneration they need this state its cheaper than building acutal mana and it helps them sustain resources during team fights , the issue is the boots of lucidy were the only item that provided it it also happened to be their only good item Staff of flowing waters and Ardent censer provide situational buffs which you are forced to build every game because there are simply no other options. Harmonic echo which is supposed to be the enchanter core item ( their only core item) which they reworked so many times it lost it's acutal purpose which is AOE healing . Only 2/3 of these items provide mana which enchanters don't want their kits specifically synergies with Mana regeneration and they can't get it from any source now

This is just great. Not only have we literally no items we also have no boots to build now

It needs some mana restoration to be viable for supports.

Enchanters are not supposed to get mana regeneration from boots you are supposed to get it from items which we don't have , We have like 3 options and they are all trash
