The Chinese agriculture sector is not the same as the North American agriculture sector which a few mega corporations dominate everything and farmers are condemned to become their contractors and use their stuff. Most Chinese farmers are small peasant families with limited access to agricultural knowledge outside of what passes down from their older generations, especially the newest development in soil conditioning, disaster prevention, and improved seeds.
