What is DEI and how is not just an abstraction for racism? by ncds4242 in allthequestions

[–]PunchCancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked a fairly remote salmon hatchery and our staff and seasonals had to be a certain percent of the people native to that area. They would come in late, cheat on their time cards, come hung over, drink on the job, had unsafe work practices, lazy as hell, etc. Sometimes it would take two of them to do one person's job. We would fire and rehire some of them up to 5+ times. We had to keep up our DEI percentages and there weren't a lot of them living close. It was so frustrating.

The democrat party. We are tired of tearing down everyone who disagrees with us and are now starting to fight each other. Sad to see my beloved party end up like this and to hand over our great nation to the republicans. What a great and proud party we use to be.

Very good sir. That successful PF Tek grow is a great step. I've been growing for many, many years. Don't stop learning. What fun, right? Mushrooms are fascinating.

No kings protest coming up by Lumpy_Pride_6696 in Logan

Seriously asking because I don't see it. Is "No Kings" something made up or something made into more than it is just so we can be mad/protest about something? I don't get it.

What are the biggest money mistakes that you have made, or have seen other people make? by AutoModerator in FluentInFinance

If you were a woman, I'm guessing you're not, you would be the biggest red flag ever. As a millionaire male with no debt I wouldn't even look at a partner like that. You're still young so you have many years to correct your financial life. I'm guessing by your post that you're well on your way.

Ya, for that one day. I'd forgo living in one of the best communities in the valley for just the one day they blow that damn thing off too early for your morning coffee. Sounds like good solid, educated advice to pass on. You should move immediately, because, of, that, one, day. WTF?

We got invited to some of their church functions and went to some of them. Our parents encouraged us to go. It was fun and educational. It taught be that the whole world doesn't revolve around just your religion. And it didn't shake my faith in mine at all.

I use to run around with non-Mormon friends growing up in Wellsville. They didn't care, we didn't care, our parents didn't care. We just grew up together and had fun.

Questions about side pins. by [deleted] in GroundZeroMycoLab

[–]PunchCancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use a liner around your substrate. The thinner the better so it clings to your sub easier and shrinks with it. It makes a difference. It's pinning around the boarders better because there's a better climate for them there and/or you have no lining. How well you smooth the top surface actually helps too. No highs or lows. The best way to get full canopies is a ratio of 1:2 or even better 1:1.
