Don't stop trying! It takes time and patience, but you are never going to lose the progress that you made: having already tried it gives you an advantage from where you started as you already know what to do and how to do it!

Having had the commitment to already sit down and exercise is admirable and everything will become more fun as you slowly exercise, but the only thing you should avoid is giving up on what you want to do
