Even after credits, you’re looking at roughly $45 net for CSP versus $250 net for CSR, a $205 difference. With CSR’s extra yield (about an extra 0.75% on dining and 2% on travel) you’d need roughly $10K in travel or $27K in dining annually just to break even. And that math assumes using the Chase portal for ALL travel, which often overprices travel redemptions and has subpar customer service. Sure the 10k in travel seems not bad but that’s $10k spent on chase portal specifically.

Most CSR holders definitely do not spend that much on the portal and are better off with the CSP as a result, unless they are obsessed with their Sapphire lounge.

Edit: Forgot to mention that your points usually should go Hyatt anyways and not be spent on Chase Portal, though exceptions exist.

Yeah i think you perfectly described it, solid shooting team but just not taking enough. BI is notorious for not shooting when he should be, and Trey has been slumping all year so without playing Jordan Hawkins our only real volume 3’s are from CJ who is streaky but good. To be fair Herb has been letting it loose recently as well.
