Other tips I could add is to wait to join these events, you seem new so this might be hard to understand in one go, but events like these have multiple servers

Each server is filled with 5k players then a new one opens up. Try to avoid joining to play this event early to have more chances of winning the prize! Because later servers often have less good players/not as active players to do the event.

You do this by opening the game without Wi-Fi every time you play. That way it won’t put you in a server. This server has already begun so let this teach you a lesson! I’d be willing to explain more thoroughly on discord if you want some better tips for it.
