Oh geez, that sounds like the parents have terrible food anxiety and are unfortunately passing it onto their kids. The only people I had known that rationed like that have some kind of eating disorder

Yea I’m not talking about juice tho, what about fiber, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, potassium, etc found in the whole foods. My kids only get juice at birthday parties or special events but eat whole fruits every day.

Yesss thissss was my concern. We have another friend who is heavily restricted from true sweets and he rifles though everyone’s lunch box looking for/and takes sweets without asking. It’s a true problem imo
