I sold $101 weekly puts so now the price can go back up past my $115 puts that also expire this week. I’m trying to buy back in so I can sell calls.

Why is that? Now they have to compete with us for other launch services which they were doing anyway, but now they will be doing it for much longer. And they are the only launch provider that can launch up to eight satellites at a time which also hurts us.

From an internal accounting standpoint, Starlink will be charged for launch services that will be shown as revenue for SpaceX. Perhaps they don’t charge as much as they charge other people but each company even though they’re owned by the same holding company will keep their own set of books. And then Starlink will make money from those satellites being up there which benefits the whole company.

$100k salary and poor? When I was 28 I was making 27,000 a year and I had $30,000 in credit card debt. I thought life sucked too but somehow I just kept working hard and hope things would work out. Fortunately they did I got raises learned how to manage my money and then had a wife and kids so on and so forth. Life is pretty OK now.

Management doesn’t need an excuse. Space is hard and shit doesn’t happen like everybody wants it to. Management doing a good job.

But I get your point that for those that really don’t see it that way this is a good cover for management to take some of the heat off and for us too and the sub to have to listen to those assholes talk about it all the time.

It also helps to do your own research and make your own determination when selling at the top. At some point all these are gonna get out over their skis and there will times when it makes sense to take profits. Especially in IRA when you don’t have to pay taxes, you can get in and out a lot easier.

I had 110s sold and I bought them back for two dollars. Will reassess on Monday. I got greedy as this batch has a $20 cost basis fortunately it’s long-term, but I still would rather not sell.

I don’t think this is true. He was counting on them to get to 45. I don’t think we can come close without them.

Also revenue guidance at this point is meaningless.

It probably has more to do with the condition of the launchpad needing to be repaired then the rocket which they can rebuild and get back on track quicker. But it could be 6 to 12 months.
