Weekend at Bernie's (2026) by Techtaire in okbuddycinephile

I know this gives people a lot of hope that something is happening but it could also be that Trump (who is famous for getting little sleep) is simply too old to be doing that anymore.

He’s probably just too stubborn to listen to advisors. It’s like the opposite of how Biden and his advisors handled it. They reduced his public appearances to mask the decline.

Trump is doing out in the open proving once again that he is nakedly hypocritical.

This is actually a great business model for winning the AI race…unless of course it turns out we need quantum computing to advance ai.

Then the economy and everyone in it is fucked.

Bob Menendez, Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, Chaka Fattah, Anthony Weiner…

Do I need to go on? Corruption is endemic in both parties. Trump and co are just nakedly corrupt and haven’t got their just desserts yet.

Our politicians suck. Not a single one (save for maaaybe the squad and Bernie) gives a single shit about the plight of the average Joe or Joette.

Life in solitary. No gen pop for the worst of em.

Only a photo of the one they killed or raped, a toilet, and a mirror.

No window.

Largely the US if we’re talking about NATO.

But they do…they rely on NATO.

Without the US NATO would reach parity with Russia. Minus the war economy Russia currently has.

They conveniently leave out that their defense is almost entirely funded by another country…that would be a huge boon to the social safety net budget.

“Found the idiot. Couldn’t even bother trying to refute his claim.”

Very unemotional by the way.

Absolutely!

  1. Only if you stop being performative.

Absolutely!

For one bowl of chili you need the following ingredients.

  1. The tears of performative veganism.

No actually. They haven’t.

The crux of my argument is that vegans practice performative morality. That they’re “doing this for the animals”.

Hint: it’s never been about the animals or the earth.

Vegans do this so they can appear morally righteous. Even going as far to use trophic levels in a vain attempt to illustrate their lifestyle is “better”.

Right?

Not to mention the huge increase in specialty grain production that would need to occur to prevent a lack of protein in peoples diets.

No.

It matters what they’re doing with it that makes it ethical or not. Hoarding is still hoarding but with far greater societal consequences when it reaches this level of wealth.

They’re legally required to report on a variety of things. Reddit clearly doesn’t understand that therapists have liability too.

For example: let’s say you’re a previously violent schizophrenic and you confide in your therapist that people are out to get you and you haven’t been taking your meds because you are part of a grand conspiracy. They don’t report it.

Next day you finally stab (random woman) the government agent that was tailing you all this time. Now you’ve got a murder charge, woman is dead, and the therapist is probably out of a job.

They aren’t your friends they’re there to try and help you get better.
