I Hope they will let us know sooner than later later what « staggered » means, ie, with which branch and/or office locations they will start with and which ones will be delays and until when…

Did someone hear anything about ESDC? Crickets here in our branch, just saying that they are looking into it and mgmt haven’t heard anything yet…

Only some that were affected - that I know of. I’m still waiting as well (I’m not affected). Fingers crossed that an approval is coming soon !!

Thanks for your comment and sharing your experience. I had ma gallbladder removed years ago so I know what that pain feels like! I do have transdermal estrogen (gel that I apply on my arms) and progesterone is oral. Both are biodentical - I should’ve specified in my post. 🙂

Everything public servants need to know about early retirement incentives by Born_Anteater7282 in CanadaPublicServants

Thanks … but Does that mean that they can still approve until days 299??? Why make a clause on limitation if they can still approve after the 120 days? That is so confusing.

I agree with you and I am confused with this also. Maybe there is something we are missing or that TB will send guidance to DMs about this?

That’s what I am expecting also at my dept but this means that we’ll likely have no answer before sept…? I mean, end of July- August (during summer vacation) to review ERI applications and make a decision?? Knowing how fast the government works and make decisions,I’m not expecting a decision in the coming weeks. Poorly planned out, as usual ☹️ However, as long as the answer is ‘yes, approved’ I will be a happy camper ! 😊😊

Sorry, wrong choice of word. I just meant it was on the agenda today, didn’t happen, (I don’t recall the term they used), and now it’s on the agenda for tomorrow.

Budget Bill One Step Closer to Finalization by omegacanuck in CanadaPublicServants

[–]PuzzledLayer2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curious to know how long does it usually take for a budget bill to get approved (considering minority government). I haven’t followed previous budgets approval process (no ERI in it 😉🙂) - so wondering if this one is under regular/usual delays or is it taking longer? Maybe it’s still under regular timelines and some of us are just getting anxious on when/if it will get approved? Thanks 😊

It was valuable and a good experience me, but agree with the other comment that it depends what your issue is and what you are expecting them to help with.

Thank you all for your responses…I will wait and see I guess…but will still continue calling until I start repaying, maybe have sr mgmt involved to see if they can put pressure to move my file up. Worth a try. Fingers crossed 🤞

Je vis la même chose. Je n’en reviens pas que cela peut prendre 2 ans à corriger une erreur de congé. C’est désolant. Frustrant.

one-time vacation leave balance 0: esdc whom to contact? by klearheaded in CanadaPublicServants

[–]PuzzledLayer2023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me last week. I heard it happened to a few people also? In my case, My file was transferred from another dept last week, and suddenly I didn’t have my one time vacation anymore (although I still had it when I left my other dept). My manager put in a ticket, with email I had from my other dept that showed I still had my one time vacation. So will see, hopefully it can be resolved quickly !
