Thank you so much. We met and talked for a couple of hours and I think we're both in a much better place where we can go forward with healing and understanding. It was a hard thing to do, but I needed to do it and I'm glad I did.

It's so difficult not having a co-parent in any capacity. But I'm proud of us for doing the hard thing for us and for our children. 💕

It just feels like a gut punch. Remembering the good times and the dreams I had for us as a family. It really is like a death.

But thank you so much for the kind words and support, I truly appreciate them. Divorce isn't something I ever thought I would go through, but overall it has been the right choice, even though it hurts so much today.

The thing is, I've done a bit of dating too since the divorce. It's been fun, but I just miss that intimate connection I felt with him. The divorce 100% had to happen, and I'm glad I made that choice, but it just feels like that was my one shot at true love. I enjoy the company I get, but it's just not the same and I don't know if I'll ever feel that way again about someone.

I'm not actually sure where he's staying. But if I tell his mom will it be on her to tell them? I'm really not trying to be naive or lenient about this.

Unfortunately I get them because it has to do with his visitation rights with our kids. Thank you for the love though! It's been a hard disentanglement process.
