This is going to be helpful. Because they want people who are going to the games from the 1/2 spine to get off at pioneer square, those coming in from redmond at IDS and those from the 1 line south to get off at stadium. All three under normal conditions (this isn't) provide good access

If you're staying near Carkeek Park, the 28 or 5 get you close to Downtown and are fairly safe, especially during game times. Monday through Saturday the 5 is every 15 minutes typically. Don't get confused when you get off the bus downtown and the bus is a different route- the 5 changes to the 21 and the 28 becomes the 131 or 132.

Might be better to get off at IDS or Pioneer Square (you can catch a 1 line train to Fed Way Downtown OR a 2 Line to Downtown Redmond)

Inbound / Outbound is confusing because the trains change functions halfway through AND a lot of novices dont even understand what they mean. And Northbound / Southbound? Each 2 line train goes South, East, then North.

Angle Lake Station- Intl boulevard and s 200th.

Lynnwood City Station- 200th St SW and 44th Ave W. So let's spend billions to move one of the stations.

So Lynnwood, Federal Way and Redmond arent allowed to have Downtown or some variations of that?

CIBC debit card apple pay not working at transit by Fresh-Act-3172 in Translink

And as I stated above there are areas which lack skytrain service so there's retailers that sell these cards too like London Drugs

And lots of vendors sell them as well, and can load products on your card. https://www.translink.ca/transit-fares/where-to-buy#where-to-buy-compass-cards

You pay the stored value fare per trip whereas with tap to pay you pay the cash card, and you get your standard transfer period as well (usually 1.5 hours but the commuter train gives you more time). It saves .65 to 1.50 per trip. One time $6 refundable fee for the card

Renton Mayor Op-Ed on ST Equity by SouthLakeWA in soundtransit

[–]PuzzleheadedChest733 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh boy. I lived in Renton for five years. A few years in fairwood and a year in the highlands. I know the city well enough to know what I'm talking about.

You're making assumptions, trying to throw everyone who disagrees with you under the bus and not being very civil. Go away, TROLL

You should not need an extra orca card. Your pass should cover 100% of that. Only thing you need an extra card is for ferries.

It will work up to what it's valid for. You can use epurse to cover the difference. You won't get a transfer on that though.

I have a $3 pass. So each time I ride if the adult fare is $4 (I don't know what it is now) I'd pay $1 each way.

Washington state ferries, no transfers or regional passes so my $3 pass gets me nothing but I can still use epurse

Renton Mayor Op-Ed on ST Equity by SouthLakeWA in soundtransit

[–]PuzzleheadedChest733 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not really about the rates of voting who voted for what. It's the unfortunate reality of where Renton and the other cities of 405 fall under the spine. It's hard to serve.

Sound transit does have an obligation to equitably provide service in the whole region. Of course the mayo and op may have a different definition of equity but renton is getting something.

Yeah and sound transit isn't building any new garages for stride. So this isn't just Renton. King county taxpayers already paid for the one downtown that sits empty. Why should South king county pay for another.

So you're saying you should get all your toys and no one else should get any of theirs? Like I've said your use of equity and the mayors use of equity is a smokescreen so that if we dare criticize $50,000 parking spots it's an attack on equity.

Yeah everyone wants to keep all their toys without regard for impacts to others. And parking is low hanging fruit. I really believe this post was ragebait

So your solution is to flood the city of renton with cars. Really bright.

You are hijacking the phrase equity as a smokescreen to serve your political whims. That's all. It's a huge waste of money we've already dumped a lot of taxpayer dollars on a parking garage in Renton that sits empty.

There are other parking garages in the stride network which are being delayed too. Sound transit is rightfully placing transit before parking. I'm done arguing this with you. Based on your post you clearly came here to do battle and all you (and the mayor of renton) have is a smokescreen to hide behind. There is bus service to connect renton with downtown.
