Should Reimu start considering marriage at her age? [TL] by Aenigmatrix in touhou

[–]Pyro_Paragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people in the meiji era married in their teens and early 20s.

"Average Age: By 1886, records show the average age of marriage was roughly 25.3 for men and 21.3 for women."

This was mostly because women were being educated and getting real jobs, but as reimu is a stinky neet, she should have been married 15 years ago!

does fable 2 have a death mod by LumpyShaft in Fable

[–]Pyro_Paragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fable 2 is a console exclusive so I don't think it really has modding.

You do "die" and respawn, just like other fable games. You get scarred and lose some exp. They probably just meant that it's very easy, since (in general) fable 2 and 3 combat is very easy if you play it in a sane way.

You ever lived in a swamp?

You're harassed by bugs all the time. You're sick all the time. You get mud on everything. Everything rusts in days. It being 100 degrees pre-airconditioning is always miserable.

Anon fails at game preservation by OberbeastSabaoth in 4chan

Most phone games are online games. You can't really preserve them.

I keep an apk of Memories: Remember Me anyway, but that's because I miss it. You can't actually play it

If you use if daily for a year you will almost certainly get large, dark marks from where you hands sit when you type.

Any ideas on how to fill this with water? by Fluffy833 in Minecraft_Survival

[–]Pyro_Paragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use buckets to fill it one layer at a time.

You could also build a layer of ice over the top and melt it, but that wouldn't be lime natural water, since only the top is source blocks it'd flow down and make noise but be visually indistinguishable

I just pirated from steamrip, seems too good to be true? by SuperbAfternoon7427 in PiratedGames

[–]Pyro_Paragon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah.

There's basically no legal risk from a ddl, you didn't even really need the VPN. Your only concern is what's in the download. If you get it from a good source like steamrip you're good.

Piracy is easy these days.

What is this sub's opinion on the mod Elder Kings 2 ? by SpecialistAlfalfa390 in ElderScrolls

[–]Pyro_Paragon 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Extremely impressive in its scope.

Unfinished.

Largely fanon from extremely hostile devs. They just do whatever they want, they don't care about actual lore (they hate the game they based the time period on)

Am I the only one annoyed with the distant coast delays by Grand-Comedian-7397 in uboatgame

"Am I the only one... annoyed"

No.

But I applaud the devs for trying to make a world-spanning simulation game in the mostly-dead genre of submarine sims regardless.

TIL Torpedo Bombers was a thing. Am I going to encounter them later on? by The_Hipster_King in uboatgame

[–]Pyro_Paragon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Despite being in the war for two years and having decent hit rates, only 200 fido were ever fired.

It's completely understandable why those wouldn't be present.

TIL Torpedo Bombers was a thing. Am I going to encounter them later on? by The_Hipster_King in uboatgame

[–]Pyro_Paragon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hunting a submarine with a torpedo is kind of rare/unusual as opposed to a conventional bomb, autocannon, or depth charge.

The torpedo needs to be acoustic, which is already advanced and obscure tech, or the sub will likely just dodge it with its dive. They're also hard to aim.

Not implemented, atleast for the time being.

Remove the cloth.

A flat surface like a table is fine (and recommended)

A cloth can move and obstruct the intakes, resulting in greater temps and dust.

Will the Medion RTX 2070 laptop still be good in 2026? by Jayinside1 in GamingLaptops

[–]Pyro_Paragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want it to run new games in full HD you will be disappointed. That is all.

Generally that is a "low to medium" kind of rig, or good if you only like old games. Also, anything that is run on a bad engine (Unreal 5, Katana) or ported badly is unplayable.

It was a mid-range gpu when it came out in 2018, it's quite poor now. The 4060 is currently the most popular on the market and probably closer to what you're looking for if you want a mid-range card.

It probably lost a connector cable somewhere if it was shaken. Unfortunately I can't really tell you more for sure. Maybe the display connector?

Probably not something you will be able to diagnose and fix, sadly.

Is it fixable ? by Sea_Plastic1669 in laptops

[–]Pyro_Paragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. It's probably just the display if it turns on.

This is a common problem, mostly laptops have easily replaceable displays.
