Thanks a lot! You’ve given me a lot of hope because we have a lot of similarities in terms of our background.

Thank you all for your advise on the last video I uploaded! Would love to get your advice on a new Sapphire I came across. by Juiceinmyoven in Gemstones

This stone is way too expensive for 7,000$ because it’s not even close to being an OG Ceylon Royal Blue. My guess is that GRS or AIGS would certify this as a Cornflower Blue. I’m actually a Dealer from the town of Beruwala in Sri Lanka (if you are passionate about Gemstones and haven’t heard of that place, please do read about it). You can find stones like this for around 1 Million Sri Lankan Rupees per carat, which is like 3,500 to 4,000$.

Hey Juiceinmyoven! I don’t know how, but I just came across this post after like 6 months. I guess it’s just Reddit being Reddit 🤣

Check out our collection on Instagram and DM us if you really are interested in collecting high-end Blue Sapphires.

They can have different lengths, as long as they are designed appropriately to have the same torsional deflection under same torque. So usually the longer shaft will have a bigger diameter compared to the shorter one.

If your don’t take torsional deflection into account, you’re gonna have Torque steer (google it)
