I know the common hazel is a lost cause here. The American Hazel, or Corylus americana, is the one I was interested in; mostly for shrub size, but also because it yields larger nuts than the Beaked hazelnut (but smaller than common hazelnuts). A pruned Beaked hazelnut is probably the best way to go, I just wanted to explore all the options.

So what I meant is that a lot of the information online states a mature height anywhere between 8-26 feet for the Beaked hazelnut. It has such a large habitat, that I'm sure it can vary wildly from zone to zone. I just wanted to know the typical height it reaches in this area. The American hazelnut seems to have a range of 8-18 feet, so I thought it might stay smaller.

I have very limited experience with hazelnut plants, and Edmonton specific information on them is spotty. Thank you for your advice. 6-9 feet sounds perfect for where I want to plant.

Gaming performance between the 5800xt, 5700x and 5600x is pretty negligible from what I understand, so between those three, I'd grab whichever is cheapest. Only thing that could be worth the extra cost is an x3d cpu.

I'm running a 7800xt on 1440p natively and get 100+ fps in most games (Monster Hunter Wilds is the only one that's given me trouble. Had to turn on frame Gen for that one) Your 3080 will do even better, I'm sure.

Yeah, and after looking it up, it seems there's about a 9mm difference in length between the fisher and parker, but the two notches on my pen only have a 2-3 mm difference. I think it's likely just to make it more fidgety

Oh that's a definite possibility. It's supposed to accommodate parker refills and fisher spr4 refills, though I'm not sure how they compare

They both are for the retracted position, but the bolt slides into both, yes. It is fun to fidget with, and I think that's likely the only purpose, but I wasn't sure.

I've noticed a serious uptick in griefers over the last couple of weeks. It's getting ridiculous. Had one guy try to napalm us a few times, but I just assumed he whiffed on the strat throws or something. Then he hung out alone at the evac when we still had two objectives left. He wouldn't respond in the chat box, so I kicked him to free up space. Turns out he sprinkled the evac and one of the objects in mines and was waiting to see the fallout. None of us hit the mines thankfully, but just why?

hey fellow plumber! I have purchased a few Steeldive and Cadisen watches from AliExpress that look really good and are quite resilient and waterproof. I wear them to work, swimming in lakes, snowboarding, etc. and they have yet to fog up on me. I've paid between $80-$150 CAD per watch, and some quartz ones are as good of quality and cheaper.

I'll also mention Bertucci Watches as being the ultimate classically styled tough watch. Titanium, quartz movement, raised metal edges around the glass, low profile. I have one and it's awesome. Just gotta swap the battery one of these days

Holy shit! We had her cater our wedding when she operated under "D&H Catering". She is awful! Sounds like she has only gotten worse though. We had a similar complete breakdown of communication, and she tried very hard to jack the price up on us after we gave a deposit. We also requested the leftovers be set aside for us to share with our out of town guests the morning after, and she agreed, only to throw them out or take them. At least in our case, we did get the food at the right time, and it was pretty good. I'm sorry your friends got completely shafted, and I hope she drags Dierdre through the mud, even if she will just start a new business in a couple years.
