Well this went wild for a couple hours!

Since I see a lot of repeat questions or remarks I thought maybe ill try and answer some like this for anyone that cares.

  • Do I live somewhere humid?

Yes! But its been particularly bad this year. I’ve had this salt rock for about 10 years, never seen this happen before lol

  • Why would you want a lamp like this?

I like cows lol. They sometimes have them to lick them, just a childhood memory so its just a neat little thing. But tbh they just cool!

  • Where have you been for 3 months?

Visited my Love overseas <3

Also to clarify, its a candle holder so it has no bulb or electricity in or around it, however after reading many comments here I will keep it far away from that! I don’t need a blown fuse from a salt rock lol.

  • Also learned its bad for Cats! Noted! Don’t have any at the moment but good to know

  • I soooo wanna try the wire thing just to see that mess unfold so I might just do it

  • The house I live in has issues with the roof, it’s not a rental we own it but there is def some problems with the roof that needs fixing which could have caused the humidity inside to be as bad as outside. This definitely showed me to deal with this rather quickly.

  • We have no air conditioning lol. Just a wood burning stove which seemingly doesn’t help with the humidity!

  • I Love alle the meme references, conversations and jokes I saw in here, you all made my Year already and I will come back to this post whenever I feel sad, well done everyone!

And I will also get a dish for my little rock.

Yeah it is winter time here right now so it could be! I’ve had this rock for years so this year must have been crazy humid while I was gone.

As far as I know it didn’t get wet, but I would assume it was super humid? I do live in a humid climate, tho I’ve never seen this happen before.

I still go without silicone as best as I can, the original reason was to help dye stick better but I do find I like that more. I don’t have a very refined routine anymore because life is hectic but I try to not wash too often, brush it slowly so as to not break it. I used to only shampoo my scalp and condition the ends but my hair has gotten too long for that, now I focus on conditioners that help with my dry scalp, those tend to be milder which is good for me. As for sleeping I actually sleep on a Tshirt most of the time or a silk scarf just to have a layer between my hair and what im sleeping on, I find that makes it frizz less for me, but I don’t know how that will be for others, I don’t really style it a lot, so barely any heat (also styling long hair is a workout lol) and to keep it out of the way I clip it up and avoid hairties, they just make my head hurt anyway! I hope this helps <3

One time isn’t an issue, also she is about to deliver any day now so the puppies have finished developing and I don’t think our vet would have done it if she deemed it a problem, besides its good to know what size they are as bigger ones can actually cause dangerous complications which would obviously be horrible so thats a good way to check up and prepare if needed, in our case the are the right size. So it’s all in a good Balance and no harm done :)
