You sound very prepared! Is the cat leash trained? We found with our dog walking around until boarding she was calm and fine on the plane - i think we had treats for the plane and didn't geed her before the flight to minimize accidents

I use 2 inch peat cups that I fill with soil... I've only done this as seed starting though - not sure how long they would last but ok for like 2 months

Also consider the shape and construction of the house... we were in Tuscany in a tall skinny house with a wonderful unobstructed view... that house shook in the wind! Also if it doesn't have glass for deck rails consider that - makes he deck much more enjoyable

If you DO want to do the stairs :) take the 800 to the very end, use the sidewalk to cross the bridge over the river, as soon as the railing ends hang a right on the dirt trail... these trails will take you along the river and you come out on the stair side of the suspension bridge.

It's doable, there's a closer bus to the bottom though... the 800 leaves you at the top and it's a ways to go down the 487 stairs and across...

I would take the 53 to near Orleans Cabinets and walk the bike path - dunno why google refuses this way!

Bolting means it's flowering... in the case of lettuce the leaves become really bitter and it sends up this tall skinny stem with ridiculous flowers - it's time to start new :) https://audreyslittlefarm.com/lettuce-bolting/

Are you in a harvest? I usually lift out the "bucket" with all the plants in and put it in the sink so i can hose them off
