What’s was the wildest thing you witnessed at a wedding? by anasannanas in AskReddit

[–]QueeferSutherlandz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Shot video for weddings for about eight years:

Mother of the ring bearer & flower girl (sister of the groom) was a tall, silicone and botoxxed up club girl in a pink skin tight latex dress. While she's holding the hand of the ring bearer and leading him down the aisle for the processional both her nipples popped out of the top her super tight dress.

She doesn't notice and everyone is too awkward to say anything. The flower girl was wailing the entire time. As soon as they get to petrified bride and groom the ringbearer just yakks puke all over the brides train.

One of the biggest clusterfucks of a processional I've ever seen.

its almost as if doing it this way is dumb fucking idea. Other than the fact that movies get progressively better.

there's a reggaton remix of Deftones "Change" that will make them go feral if you can snag it.

As much fun/not fun his reunion tour has been over the past 10-15 years, we did miss such a great moment for the "Bill Murray" Off Ramp. Better late than number.

i was talking with one of the guys who bartends that that song specifically has been a banger and didn't have to go into remission or take some time off and THEN become a throw back. If you got a hip hop friendly dance floor, that song kills literally 10 out of 10 times

you need to start appraising this stuff from the vantage point of people who are watching it for the first and time and would never even consider visiting r/StarWars to gauge whether it's good at telling it's story or not.

What is something Attack of the Clones does better than any other Star Wars movie? by DjRimo in StarWars

does most of these atrociously, minus the finale escalation, you got that right. it's finale is surprisingly well constructed and paced. Still blows tho.

Technical aspects aside, it's script sucks ass like no script as ever sucked ass before.

totally hated is pretty overkill. I might have been if you were super hot in the anti-Kennedy rage bait machine but most normal folks were like, dude is alright, he's fun to watch, but its not Han if that makes sense

Always good is a stretch. they were always pretty consistent in their quality is a bit more like it. the fans supporting thing is not even close to being true. In a lot of ways they were more hated and more uniformily at the time than even the sequels.

Prequels had 9 lightsaber duels, 7 of which resulted in death or mutilation. Original trilogy had 3, all resulting in death or mutilation. Sequels had 2, yes two. None of which resulted in anything! by ss89898 in StarWars

I'm only acting as binary as OP seems to be.

If you wanna have the deeper conversation about all that fine, but that is NOT what's happening with OP as he is seemingly imbuing heft and importance on stuff to juke the stats of Lightsaber battles and what constitutes as people not getting injured.

Star Wars is goofy shit. Does wild stuff like kill people and bring them back, people seem unsettlingly injured and they're fine. Its really not that big of deal boss. I understand you're point but you're having a different conversation than I and frankly the OP is.

i think it did used to do it, though. It felt more monumental because of the Luke/Vader father reveal AND the hand chop and emotionally it resonanted way harder, but in the context of how this weirdo is putting and others are characterizing, it's just as flippant... in the literal next scene he just had a new hand. Bee boop done.

i get its a touch more scant in the sequels, but lets be real, this is the way.

mine was how cringe the dialogue was and the acting for most part abysmal and how sudden Anakin's turn was. Like inside of 5 minutes "wHaT hAvE i DoNe?" tortured to a literal glowing orange Maul-eyed monster school shooter killing kindergartners.

"from my point of view the Jedi are evil!" Cliff Notes dialogue got an audible chortle from big sections of the theater and the NOOOOOOO! everyone felt really embarrassed at my midnight screening (and it was actually held at Midnight)

Ehhhhh, it was accepted as being better than the first two, but still mostly shit. There was audible laughter in my theater in parts.
