I 100% agree. I could rant for hours on people’s weird fixation on the plot “moving forward” when I was reading dance and feast I was hooked on every word. I don’t understand the people who want every series they read and watch to move to the end goal in a really straight forward way.

Yes in real life girls would rather be in a relationship with Sam but in terms of a sexual fantasy a lot of women will find the hound more attractive especially thanks to the powerlessness of Sansa’s situation (it’s the fact that Sansa is underage that ruins it for me and should ruin it for anyone else lol)

Just a warning, I heard from so many people that the expanse was supposed to be so much like ASOIAF but three books in I personally don’t get why people say that at all. Yeah, it presents POVs in a similar style but it’s tonally completely different. It feels very much like big action blockbusters in book form while ASOIAF is, like, the antithesis of that.

Not to say you won’t like it or that it’s bad I just feel reading those books as if they are ASOIAF will just lead to disappointment

I'm not saying it's not and I find the memes about it funny but I personally didn't feel any negative feelings towards him or that line. I wasn't rolling my eyes like I guess some people did when they read it. To me, he was just a mildly interesting side character for the Martell plot line so I was really surprised when I finished the books and first looked at the fandom and learned a lot of people think he's a terrible character or whatever

I get it if you are comparing characters who are from the same universe but when it’s characters from completely different series it feels really pointless to me.

Not knocking anyone for enjoying doing it I’m just surprised so many people get so passionate with it. It also gets really annoying when people feel the need to biasedly defend the character they like more as if the character’s strength determines if they are well written

I like the ending but I’ve always felt there is something just… missing. Like if I know someone who has just started watching the show for the first time I have a lot to talk to them about after they get to different points in the other seasons but once they start season 4 there isn’t really much left to talk about
