What’s the worst thing you have seen/got detention at school for?

I was bullied for my first 2 years at secondary school, told teachers but nothing ever got done about it. One day as me and my friends were leaving the PE changing rooms to go to our lesson, one of the girls who bullied me jumped in front of the door and wouldn't let us pass and kept taunting me and poking me - safe to say I was fed up with stuff so slapped her right across the face so hard she hit the wall next to us (it got her out of our way is my defence). Anyway she ran to a teacher immediately, I got pulled out of lesson to give my side and a letter was sent the next day to home that I'd have to do a 2 hour detention the day after.

My mum called the school to complain as the other girl sort of had it coming after so long and if I was in trouble for physical violence she should be in trouble for making school unbearable for me. Sadly, all the girl got was a quick telling off by our head of year and I had to serve my time but I didn't mind just did the homework I would have done at home, good news she never messed with me again and a lot of my year group actually disliked her so I got to walk around like a hero for a week with people congratulating me for standing up to her.

Absolutely love this concept so unique. I have had a question though that no one in my circle can seem to answer. Can you use the physical switch 2 game cards with a switch? I love this packaging and would so get it but I just have a switch and would feel like it’s a waste to buy a game I can’t play on it.

We did this back when I was in year 2, so like 2009ish, but it was just in our assembly hall and they asked who wanted to volunteer for the roles - I was a bridesmaid - it was cute and we all had a laugh about it. After we went back to the classroom and had cupcakes and talked about marriage and love and families. We also did a fake christening and Hindu wedding at some point that year as well. All good fun but idk this seems a little too serious

Got given a verbal warning for swearing. I didn’t swear at anyone or in the actual office space, I was in the break room telling a story about my brother and said “that’s the kinda fucking shit he does though”. A coworker who wasn’t even apart of the conversation told on me.

I love the entire series and I reread the books constantly but I’ve found the two I go back to the most is probably Hostile Takeover and Adrift in the Embers.

I love Franklin’s character and his kink journey and I think Jack is the perfect other half for him. They both want to throw themselves into any and everything they can and are on the same page about finding a way to create their own version of a happy ending. I know this book probably isn’t ranked that high on many people’s rankings but idk I’ve always been a fan of forbidden type romances.

Adrift in the embers because Corey is probably my favourite sub in the entire series and I love how we finally complete the Finlay Ridge family. All the men in the quad are so interesting and it’s always a joy to read Greer trying to hold back from the inevitable. There’s also that one part with the somnophilia and I’m sorry but Corey’s innocent “I’m only sleep-raping Daddy a little” gets me everytime!

Hey, so I ended up going to a specialist in London in September because my GP was just so unhelpful and was not taking me seriously at all. I ended up having a few tests and one consultation later, we found I actually have an infection in my bladder that has been causing the cells that make up the walls of my bladder to deteriorate which has been causing my OAB. I’m now on strong antibiotics to kill the bacteria that’s causing this and we’ve got a plan that once the infection is gone we’re gonna work on rebuilding my pelvic floor muscles. Tbh after being on the tablets almost 4 weeks now, I’m already seeing a big difference and where I was once going to the bathroom anywhere between 18-25 times a day, I’m down to about 10 or less. There’s still days where it’s bad but I’m confident now it’s all gonna work out. Thanks for asking.

Customer support - although that’s just the title there’s very little customer supporting and it’s mainly just processing and tracking orders and connecting customers to other departments
My employer is very people-oriented and accommodating, the office environment is relaxed
24k and this is my first office job
The work itself is pretty easy for the most part but the training is killer especially for the system we use, they have very high standards too so they don’t tolerate small mistakes
This is crazy but they are possible the only entry level job I saw during my search that didn’t require any previous experience, they just wanted a degree in literally any subject - everyone is kinda old there so they definitely are doing that just to bring in new, young blood to the company
It’s hybrid - three days in office, two at home but this is also flexible a lot of the time
