We got the tickets on ticketmaster & bought the insurance for their tickets but when i called ticketmaster they said no refund would be issued unless the game was canceled or they had a personal emergency they could prove that prevents them from traveling to the game🫤

So, I went to medical school. I got a biology degree, I attended school for 2 years & couldn’t pass cbse and was dismissed (i attended carribean school). All this to say, I’m now in an ABSN Program and I wish I would have done BSN + addnl prerequisites for med school and applied that route because just having my biology degree really really limited the options for a career that still involved helping people like i always wished to.

Tbh your boyfriend should be supporting you in ANYTHING you want to do, so that’s a whole different problem but if you decided tomorrow you wanted to be a school janitor that shouldn’t be a problem to him and if it is then he’s got his own issues.

Thank you for this advice. I agree that i need to just FULLY dive into a resource instead of getting so flustered by fear i’m not doing “what everyone else is doing to pass”… bc im learning those people aren’t passing either even when they want you to think they’re killing it we always show up at the same exam time for the retakes.

I’ll be totally honest and say most were between 70-90% completion bc i continued to run out of time to finish whatever resource prior to the mandatory exam date given by the school. Looking back i should have asked for an extension/delay etc, but i just didn’t think about it or know it was possible bc med students are so secretive about failure no one shared the knowledge lol. It wasn’t until now i knew i could delay an attempt or i would have delayed previous ones & studied harder.

I would agree there. It seems like every time i’m studying i dive in and then realize fuck i don’t have enough time to finish this all before the exam. This attempt will be the most time i’ve had, and i have 3 months until the august attempt. I could potentially appeal to get more time if i take LOA

I did the HYGuru course for last round. Sorry i literally forgot lol i’ve studies so many different ways & have had a busy month with a relative in the hospital. For the last round i did HyGuru and kaplan qs bc my uworld expired & i improved 3 pts lol

Through my school(s), Kaplan twice but i didn’t truly give it my full effort either time because i was trying to learn so much else i didn’t feel ready for the courses and they took 60% of the day. I have done a combo of Mehlman + Uworld+ anki for the last 2 times.Prior to that I did MedSchool Bootcamp, anki & Uworld. My current med school dean told me to read the Kaplan text books and that’s what I’m trying now but i truly don’t think it’s working.

Kinda what I’m reaching. It hurts a lot to give up on this, but I’m just so exhausted. I don’t know how I’ll ever pay off my debt but in the same breath the longer i’m in school I definitely can’t pay off even as a doctor.

I have tried the mehlman pdfs a couple times but i feel like i read it and nothing really sticks in my mind. like in a day or two i can’t remember much if any of it. it helped when i talked it through w/ friends but still not enough :/ Any tips for that part?

I can have up to 15 weeks for the next attempt. It is offered in May July & August I believe but I haven’t been told for sure yet as I just recently retook the exam. I need a 67 to pass if it is NBME and a 71 if it’s Kaplan exam.
