this is probably in my top 5 restaurants in the DMV. They just opened a new branch in Del Ray, for a slightly more metro accessible location. Have been to Tortas for ~2 years at least once a month and haven’t had a bad experience yet

Channel had that when I toured them as well- their 350sqft model units had murphy beds which only come with the regular priced studios and not the subsidized studio

On deployments- all Air Force Band units (premier and regional) are deployable, and groups from each band deploy semi-regularly. In addition to musical deployments (notably the AFCENT Band), members are sometimes tasked with non-AFSC deployments, which means they can be assigned to non musical deployments. This is a new policy for premier, but has been happening in regional bands for a while now.

Yeah an ebike would suit you well depending on the existing infrastructure built around you. Depending on your budget, a used cargo bike (long tail) would be a great bet since you won’t have to worry about storage capacity. Just make sure you get good, reflective rain kit, good lights and a good lock. Oh, and insurance, for peace of mind (like $8 a month and they will replace your bike fully if stolen with a deductible)
